Bandits Football Field At Norristown State Hospital

This place is so unprofessional and unorganized I have love one that’s there right now they stop her from calling me and her caseworker stop contacting me so now I’m not able to see her ima keep writing allegation ima keep reporting this place to the news until I get justice

Beautiful historical buildings with a sad history. It is my hope that both the architecture and the history will hopefully be preserved for all. Security was a little lax and conditions don't appear to be the greatest.

Unfamiliar of the hospital itself . Although , the hospital facility is great for my travel photography

I have been trying to access the records department of the hospital for 5 days....NO ONE responds...any help would be appreciated

Exciting to toy with the racist staff some of them and was told they were throwing a party when I left. I felt sooo specsal... That place is a fkn joke except BILL is cool

Tried speaking with the office while waiting on discharge papers had to bang on the door bc she was passed said she would get things going and then went back to sleep and had to bang on the door again alit gets accomplished here while the workers are sleeping smh

When I was here, they tried putting me on medication I didnt want or need. When I told the doctor I didnt want that, she threatened to 302 me because I wasnt cooperative. It was a bluff, because the next day it was different, but regardless these people will do you dirty. If not the doctors, then maybe the staff recording patients on phones. One psychiatrist here was decent. This place is literally haunted.

Fell straight through the floor. Do you guys even maintain the building? Went to the front desk to complain, no one was even there! If that wasn't bad enough, there was DUST collecting on the floors. Don't even get me started on the shadow people in the basement. I'm taking my business to another asylum.

Was here in 1988 after a suicide attempt. Went M. C. E. M. S. After St. Mary's stitched up. Mcems is on the Norristown State hospital grounds and is where they sort you out meaning that they see who your insurance is and your insured you will likely go to another better place if not you go to Norristown first building 52 men's admitting. Here you are evaluated for 2 weeks then they put you into a building that is best suited for your needs. This was the late 80s buildings were a little worn out and mostly grungy not much to say about admitting so onto my home for the next 3 months yes months. Building 1 is community rehabilitation where you are supposed to be rehabbed so you can function again this is difficult because wasn't much in the way of group therapy they did have activity classes like art music and the like and if you kept with the rules and took meds you can get outside privilege I achieved this and found escape routes and stole from a grocery store more than once for robo tripping . So security was lax even drove right out of the gates to come back to levittown to party ended up cutting a slit in wrist I hitchiked and got picked up by state trooper to take me back and as punishment I got my ground privilege revoked and supervised visits. So I pretty much slept in the hallway most of the day because they wake you up at 7 am and your locked out of the dorm until 8pm.my doctor whom I barely saw because I wanted to sleep instead of deal with tried to get re-committed but paper work didn't make so I got out and left the state for the summer. So no therapy lax doctors and lax security only plus was mid day techs and head nurse other than that this place is better off dead time to refurbish this place and make it section 8 housing
