Bane Park, Houston, Texas

It's an older park, but it's a good place to spend time by yourself or with others. Big enough areas for catch and release fishing. Baby, kid, and couples swings available, There are plenty of shaded areas with various picnic tables and benches. Paved walking paths and a short wooded trail off to the side. You'll find ducks, nutra rats, sand volleyball court, and playgrounds for kids and toddlers. I wish this place had food trucks with snacks or ice cream available.

Park is certainly not in the most park friendly location judging by all the warehouses nearby, however this is a hidden gem. There were ducks everywhere and some makeshift dirt trails that really give that in the middle of nowhere feel. Overall very great park although the water was covered in vegetation.

A nice little park with a playground for the kids and a small fishing lake. Ducks inhabit the park as well and seem to be quite friendly.

Beautiful park with a playground, clean restrooms, and a pond for fishing. It's a fun place to take the kids fishing for bluegill and turtles. The bass in the lake are very finicky and will not bite a single lure. I've only ever caught one in my many times coming here.

If you’re into photography, this is a great place. It was clean, and surprisingly quiet, given that it’s so close to a major road.

A well used park with a couple of small lakes where you can fish catch and release with a leave trail around the lake, benches and picnic tables. There is a baseball field, a playground with older equipment which is still in good repair. The lake has ducks on it and coypus swimming near the shore. Thankfully the park has a fairly large car park and a public restroom.

Perfect for morning wake up exercise in the park. Wild duck and goose are getting cozy, kids can play in the shade. Even though this a stock pond for fish, it would be hard to fish here. It has to much water grass in the pond.

It’s a beautiful park! When it comes to fishing the “stocked” pond. Don’t even bother.. the entire pond is matted with vegetation. The water is absolutely crystal clear, so fish will see your hook a mile away. If you want people to fish here, clear at least 50% of the vegetation out so this can be a decent fishing spot.

One of the best kept secrets in Houston. Great place to enjoy the scenery and animals all while running or playing sports. Honestly, the name doesn't do it justice. I would call it "Duck Paradise Park".
