The ladies that work here are amazing!!! From the ladies at the front desk the the vet techs and the amazing doctors there. They are patient and kind. Always willing to take time to listen. Thank you to everyone that took part in checking my Maggs over yesterday and taking time with us as well. She is doing great know.
Do NOT take your pets here. We’ve been taking our 8 year old Rottweiler here due to chronic diarrhea for several months. They ran all sorts of panels and tests on her and tried to prescribe all these expensive medicated foods to “help her”. We informed them that none of the foods worked and they then told us they would refer her to a specialist for further treatment and that they’d reach back out once everything had been set up. Turns out they never even reached out to the specialist as we ended up calling them ourselves. We reached back out to Banfield regarding this and the lady informed us that she’d send all the necessary paperwork to the specialist. Still didn’t do it. They eventually ended up ghosting us entirely. They stopped responding to all phone calls and emails. Fast forward to today and our dog is now DEAD, because these incompetent people failed to do their jobs. How hard is it to transfer paperwork??? They don’t care about our pets they just want to take your money! Please please please do not bring your pets here.
I took my new yorkie puppy to get her check up. They are very nice, but they move too slow for me. They will leave you up front for about 10 minutes while they are in back getting something. Other than that, I like it so far.
Banfield is not my primary vet, but on Saturday, my pittie managed to get an old piece of fence wiring lodged in her lower leg/upper paw. I called on super short notice dogs never hurt themselves at a good time lol and they fit me in at 4:30 on a Saturday! Saving me an emergency vet trip. They did an X-ray and managed to remove the wire, gave us pain meds and antibiotics. The vet was super helpful and everyone was so nice and took great care of my girl. Thank guys! Charm says thanks too, even if she’s a big nervous nelly!
Most of the staff seems like they genuinely care about your pet except for one lady at reception whom always has a grumpy fierce looking face. They are always extremely busy but that’s every Banfield I’ve been to.
Loganville Banfield is one of the best places to take your puppy. We had to put down our second puppy. Snellville Banfield refused to wait for me to get there before putting dpwn my golden. Loganville was sweet, kind compassionate and asked us if we needed to waot for everyone to get there.
Do your research! You can take your pets to a local vet and pay 1,000 LESS over the span of a year compared to paying a year's worth on the Banfield plan. I've done my research, and we have decided to cancel all three of our pets plans. They also nickel and dime every thing even when your on their plan.
Dr. Amy was nice, the 2 stars is for the poor customer service at the front desk, the older lady was impatient, not friendly at all! at the time of payment , I looked at her and said I hope your day gets better… she never said thank you or have a nice day after the transaction was completed. The service was great they were kind to my puppy it's overpriced, and I felt hustled to pay for the plan it was annoying it's is very convenient. Otherwise, I would have gone somewhere else
De. Amy and the staff were so kind and friendly to my dog Junior during his last days. They checked up on daily to see if his condition was improving. Unfortunately, we did have to make the decision to put him down. I will forever be grateful for how kind they were during this difficult time.
