I had always heard great things about Bangerter Jewelers so I decided to take an old family ring that needed fixed. They quoted me nearly $850. They said the entire ring needed to be re done, there was nothing they could do to "save" this one but that they could certainly replicate it. I couldn't afford that at the time and later took the same ring in the same condition to another local jeweler. He fixed the ring for a TOTAL of $250. Nearly $600 less than what I was quoted at Bangerter, it was able to be "saved" to keep the sentimental value and it looks awesome. Such a shame to think of all the people Bangerters have over quoted and taken advantage of. I will never go back.
