Bank Greene County

I have been a customer of Greene County Bank for about 4 years now, and I have to say they have treated me like family. They have always given me superior customer service. They are educated in all financial aspects and are willing to answer all questions. I would highly recommend the Bank of Greene County in Kingston!!!

My first experience with the Kingston Branch was as a non-customer. I called to ask if I could redeem savings bonds without an account. I was told that I could, and informed as to what I would need to bring with me. When I first walked in to the branch, I was amazed at how different it was from every other bank I had ever visited. - I was greeted with a smile and a "Hello! How are you today?" - Missing was the velvet rope-lined maze to enter and wait. - I was called directly to the teller line with an "I can help you right here!" I explained that I had called about redeeming bonds, and was told the information they needed to get started. The whole process of adding a profile to the bank's system and redeeming my bonds took less than 5 minutes. As someone who has worked in various forms of customer service throughout my working life, it takes a lot to impress me. I was thoroughly impressed with the excellent service I received - so much so that several months later when I was looking for additional employment, I applied when I saw BOGC was hiring. I thought to myself "this is a team I could be proud to be a part of". Six years later, I am still proud to be a part of the BOGC team.

Everyone at the Kingston branch is aways super helpful and nice. It’s always a great experience doing my banking with anyone that is there. I am very happy to be a customer at the Bank of Greene County.

Every time I walk into the Kingston branch I’m greeted with warm smiling faces that make me feel right at home. I highly recommend BOGC. If you’re looking for a bank that is professional and knowledgeable with staff that treat you like family-this is the one!

I have had nothing but good experiences at the Kingston branch. The staff is very friendly. The brown haired girl who works there is the nicest person you’ll ever meet but everyone is great. Very personal and hands on.

The BOGC Kingston location has always been top notch for service. Every time I go the staff is super friendly and they always go above and beyond. I have never left upset or disappointed. Great people and a great bank!

I have been using Bank of Greene County for a couple years now. Branch locations are great but lending has become an issue. They some how manage to exceed normal loan turn around times and have become misleading. My current loan was processed and I was told loan amounts couldn't go higher because of the value. Once I added more value the amounts still couldn't increase because they were not willing to offer more on the deal. This would have been an acceptable answer instead of blaming it on the appraisal. DO NOT USE Ryan, ROACH and RYAN to close. over several loans they have proved to ask for more information even though they say they need nothing more. It has happened many many many times and right up to 1 hour before closing causing delays and confusion. On a residential level it took over a month to get an answer. Unacceptable. Shop rates, Wallkill and Sawyers are offering better at this point
