BoA in New Bern is the worst of the worst bank! Here it is a Friday afternoon yea there are tropical storm conditions, mostly rain I go there just like every Friday. It’s 1:52 pm they meet me at the door to tell me they are closing due to weather conditions! What!!! Your only open for two more hours! It’s like their lives are more important than anyone’s. Always understaffed. Closed there drive thur! Hell just closed the bank already! Y’all are always on your own time, not worried about your customers needs!
I have been a BoA customer for more than 20 years and I am increasingly disappointed in its customer service. It is very difficult to get anyone in the New Bern branch to answer the phone, it has reduced the hours it is open for business, and it has too few tellers. The last time I visited, it only had one teller trying to serve all the waiting customers. I realize it’s goal is to have little or no personal contact with actual customers by pushing all transaction online. Nevertheless, I Think it would benefit from enhancing its customer service.
Coming in with a 10 month old problem, Dorothea Stanton generously gave us her time and was able to resolve it. The problem wasn’t even really with Bank of America, but she just took it on and saw it through. We were so impressed with her professionalism. She displayed incredible patience and compassion for the run around we had endured. I felt that I was finally in someone’s hands who actually cared. I have not always been fond of Bank of America, but we now want to open an account with them solely due to her. Thank you so much Dorothea!!!
No one ever answers the phone. Understaffed resulting in long wait times for simple transactions.
I've been banking with Bank of America for over 42 years, back when it started as the Bank of Asheville. What happened?!? When I called today to make an appointment to open a decedent estate account worth a substantial amount of money, after several different tries, I never did talk to a human being. I don't feel comfortable making an online appointment. I know that we are all concerned with the COVID pandemic, but these shortened hours and inaccessible associates can't be good for business. I get the feeling that BOA is trying to save a couple of bucks, closing on Wednesday and shortening their other weekday business hours. Please, BOA, contact me to show me where I am wrong. BTW, I brought this decedent estate account to BB&T now, 'Truist'. They answered on the first ring, and scheduled my appointment within five minutes.
Was my bank for at least 20 years, but had to close due to expensive fees. Also there was a lack of communication between the bank and myself about the options of different types of accounts with lower fees. I basically just feel screwed over and extremely disappointed.
It’s time you showed some concern and told us “when” or “if” this location will ever be open again. As far as I am aware it has not been open a single day for at least the last two weeks. This is not acceptable. And don’t respond to this request with some canned response about I should contact some Bank of America customer response team. Just give me the answer here. Are you going to reopen this branch and if so when?
Caution with the ATM. try to make a deposit this day 08/26/2022 enter my card and cash. I returned the card but did not make the deposit. I called customer service and they couldn't help me. I lost my money . more than 100 dollars.
Location has shown open on website but is closed when I arrive. Have waited 10 days to complete a transaction. Just found note on door suggesting I drive 45 minutes away to complete my banking. Time to look for new bank in New Bern!
If there was a ZERO, BoA would earn it. For a decade or so, it has turned its back on New Bern. I guess this temporary closing is the last curtain. Brian Moynihan, BoA CEO, should be ashamed of himself to allow this to happen! But unlikely he cares about the little customers like my family.
