Plenty of parking spaces...easy access to automatical teller machine.. great customer service... they even have television monitor displaying the latest stock market and relevant news.
The staff seem untrained without basic idea how to serve customers. A teller couldn’t provide the help we need. She said she would let the manager help us. She let us wait for the manager after she spoke to the manager briefly. After a long wait, the manager clearly didn’t know we were waiting for her, and didn’t seem to know the situation either. They should do some easier job instead of working for any bank. Do not waste time here.
Some of the worst service a bank can offer. 1 teller while over a dozen customers are waiting in line in times of a pandemic. “Managers” who don’t know procedures and have to “concert” with colleagues about simple tasks every banker should be familiar with. Time to overhaul.
I had a horrible experience in this branch. I went to make a car payment on my car loan, and the teller put the payment towards my BOA credit card, which had zero balance on it! Three weeks later, several calls and in person talks with the branch manager, Mr. Johnson, the matter was still not resolved! Definitely will never again use this branch and/or Bank of America in general!
Absolute worst BOA branch in the area. I came in today to deposit two checks and spent nearly 45 minutes in line while one teller helped all of the customers, and 2 tellers stood behind the partition and refused to assist customers. Mori, one of the tellers, was specifically asked twice by two separate employees to open his line to assist the lengthy line of customers and he scoffed and continued to sit with his "Next Teller Please" sign up. Unfortunately this is the branch closest to my home but I will continue avoiding it at all costs. Absolutely awful service. Go to Dedham instead! They're pleasant and fast!
Waste of time. Go to the one in Dedham. There's always a huge line and only 1 teller at this one.... even though there is 5 or 6 workers walking around, chatting, laughing, joking. No one bothering to help with the line. Finally the manager asked one of them to help. She proceeded to sit at the computer, not helping for another 10 minutes...passive aggressively smiling at the next person in line
This is the WORST branch. It is the closest to our house and the people are SO unhelpful. I wanted to make simple wire transfer and apparently the tellers can’t do that and the guy in the suit told me to come back in 3 hours.. but he was walking around and wasn’t doing Anything!!! He said they were so busy but the bank was Empty!!! You can’t transfer money with the app.. instead they direct you to their absolutely confusing web site that times out before you can make the transaction… it would so much easier to have someone at the bank help you because… that is their job!!! Close this branch… people hate it. Have had all our accounts mortgage etc here for 20+ years. Switching NOW!!!
Tried to reach this branch this morning by phone multiple times and nobody would pick up the phone. Ended up having to drive to the location and there were employees literally standing around. Shame they don't answer the phone! This is a large customer service miss!
I really don't understand all the negative reviews. We recieved fantastic service that went well above and beyond what you would expect from a local bank. We went to transact the sale of a car on Saturday. The bank manager accommodated us with a last minute appointment with the notary. When the buyer was running late, they held the bank open for us so that we could complete our transaction. Stayed late to count and verify the bills. Treated us and the buyer with upmost professionalism and courtesy. I really can't thank the staff of this bank enough for helping us with everything. Truly phenomenal service. Would highly recommend this branch.
I took money out from a drive through BoA atm, and one of the ten dollar bills that came out was torn and only about 1/2 remained. I went inside to exchange the damaged ten for an acceptable ten that I could use. The two women at the front desk were very rude and refused to replace the bill. I explained to them that it was their own BoA atm that gave me the damaged money. They said it wasn't their problem and that they didn't accept or exchange damaged money. I had to drive to a different location Roslindale BoA where that bank branch exchanged the money for me. When I told them how the west roxbury branch treated me they apologized for that behavior and said that it was not BoAs policy to refuse the exchange of damaged bills. The customer service at this west roxbury location is mediocre and now I understand why it has a rating of less than 2 stars. Avoid going here if you can...
