I highly recommend banking with any other bank or credit union out there. I was denied access to my own bank statements, told I couldn’t dispute a charge I did not authorize until it posted to my account and overdrafted me. Since they couldn’t dispute it in time, I figure the least they can do is waive the overdraft fee because I did not authorize that charge and I did everything in my power to prevent that from happening but they said “we can’t guarantee anything, we’ll make a note, however we can offer you a $500 personal loan to prevent an overdraft”. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!! Absolutely unreal, I’m closing all accounts with bank of America and will be sure to advise everyone I know to do the same thing.
They work very poorly at this bank. They make you wait to be served and there are others who have an appointment who, when they arrive, are served before you. Why don't they say attention is by appointment without saying wait. In addition, the Manager does not know how to solve problems of this type and is racist, if you are Hispanic or black it does not go well for you
2 drive through 1 was broke line was 10 cars long.peiple were having problems taking cash.took about 20 mins to deposit 1 check.
This is the worst bank I have ever been in. I went in there to take care of some of my mothers accounts as she passed away. First you can never get an appointment. Today one of their “trainees “Marcella, got in my face for some reason. She claimed I was “looking “ at her. Looking at her!?! I was already under enough stress having to deal with my moms passing, then I had to put up with this women’s extreme rudeness. She needs to take a course in people skills. I hope I don’t ever have to go in this establishment again
I never leave reviews but felt like I definitely had to after my experience at this branch. They helped me last minute despite being short staffed and not having an appointment. Not only that, but they were the friendliest! Specifically Lisa and Nina. I’m so grateful they took the time to help me. I actually have other Bank of America branches closer to my home but I am more than happy to go out of my way to go to this branch from here on out. So thankful for these ladies!
Worst bank ever. My father in law passed away at the end of March and had an account with BOA. We filled out the paperwork and submitted it and they said it would take 6 to 8 weeks to close account. 6 weeks go by, we contact bank , they ask for same paperwork again. We submit it and they say another 6 to 8 weeks. Called and called for updates - no one ever answered. Went in and was told we had to make an appointment. Went in and they asked for paperwork again!!!! Today went to the branch and the assistant mgr was so rude my 10 yo grandson commented on her rudeness. Ended up leaving and went to a different branch where we finally we able to close the account at a $250 fee and got the check. Never in my life have I seen such poor customer service.
Opened new account, was in portland for work, called this branch as it is where I opened my account and staff was more than willing to transfer me to corporate knowing I have no information to get through automated system. Thanks for not helping me, I will weigh whether I want to continue to bank with your bank now. Wish I would have read these reviews prior to using this location, as I believe your home branch should be the place you reach out for help, not some corporate office I have never spoke with. Call me old fashion but where is the customer service?? I think they need to demote the managers here and make Monina a manager as she is the only helpful person at this location as far as I can tell.
There always seems to be an issue every time I come here. Today, I’ve been waiting for over an hour for a notary. Upon arrival, they told me the wait was ten minutes. They just came out and said it would be another half hour. Apparently they only have one notary, and she just so happens to be the same person who hides out in the vault all day. ‍
Grossly understaffed for tellers. The tellers try very hard but are under amazing pressure. 1 teller for the location I was 9th in line . Clearly bank of America is milking covid to the end. Shamefully managed. If I wanted to use a ATM or banking app I have many choices beyond Bank of America. Clearly the only reason I am with BofA is because I choose teller service.
This bank should be shut permentley it is never open when I ask the manager why he blamed covid, thankfully Publix don't operate the same way or we would all starve. My review had no affect still close as of Friday 4/23 and if you go to any other boa the lines and out of the door Please get you act together As a ML client I have written to the CEO about this.
