Jun 15, 2023: I have to revise my review and give BOA a 1 star review again. I do not recommend this bank at all. I have had my business bank account at BOA for over 20 years and I have never been treated with respect or fairly. Recently I found out that if you maintain over 20K in your business account then you don't get charged wire fees and other bank fees. I have maintained a much larger amount for years and have always been charged wire fees. Recently I opened a business account at another bank and found out they don't charge fees if you maintain a certain amount. I asked BOA to refund me the $15 wire fee for an incoming wire that I was charged recently and they refused. I told them other banks don't charge a fee and I was told in order for the fees to be waived I can enroll in their Preferred Rewards for Business Benefits program at no cost. I was never told about this program or that I had to enroll in it. When I found out about it, I asked them multiple times to email me the information and they didn't. I asked Rui at the branch twice in the past to refund me the wire fees and at no point did he till me that all I had to do was enroll in this program in order to have the fees waived. I feel he kept me in the dark intentionally and I have been deceived for years. Raquel also did not tell me about it even though I have met with her multiple times and she has refunded me fees in the past as well but at least she did email it to me when I told her the online customer service agent told me they are indeed waived when you enroll in the program. The fact that both her and Rui did not tell me about the program is very concerning and for this reason I do not recommend this bank to anyone. December 2022: I am updating my review and giving BOA a 5 star rating because they have really improved the customer service at the Bank. I have bank accounts at several banks in town and I have to say the customer service for BOA especially via social media is very impressive. They respond quickly and follow up unlike one of the larger banks in town. I also like the way you can schedule appointments online. They are very business friendly and I have had my business account for a very long time. They have a big parking lot in the back and it is always easy to find a spot and I can go in and out quickly. I highly recommend this bank!
