Maria Sanchez helped us get creative to open a business account. When my own Credit Union was cut and dry, she came up with a solution. She took the time. She was fantastic. She cared. In a sea of customers, she took the time. I came in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I do not know the dude that has the office in front of her. But, he was also very pleasant. Maria, if you ever get to read this....Thank you.
We have used them as our personal bank for 20 years and we have never had anything but pleasant and efficient service. The drive thru is a little crazy, but this location is packed in a tight space, so it is what it is. If the drive thru is backed up, I just go to the walk up ATM inside or go to a teller. No complaints here!
UPDATE: My previous review was 1 star due to lobby random closings throughout the week over a span of months and the lack of coin change for my businesses. Since then... meeting with local business banking rep over concerns and he helped improve my account needs along with some things I didn't even consider. They now have a dedicated business teller who's absolutely wonderfulDebbie along with all the staff just as they previously were and really the only reason I didn't change banks at that time was because of them and I'm glad I chose to stay. I look forward to my visits to this location.
Went today with my father in law to cash his check & the teller was rude, and unprofessional. I have worked in the banking & we always tried our best to provide excellent service for our clients and non clients. Don’t recall her name but She was a lady with blond hair & glasses. I had considered opening an account with BOA being that I reside in Goose Creek and it was nearby but will not after this experience.
Ended up selling a car 9/7/22 and did the transaction at the bank right before they closed. The Tellers were extremely nice, helped me, and was able to answer my questions. Also, I have worked with Maria a few times as well there and she is always such a delight!
This location sucks. Came in today around 9:15 as a walk in to sign my daughter up for a account I sit and waited until 9:55 looking around to see why it’s talking so long as usual and they just sitting inside there office doing nothing only to have Maria come out and talk to people who came in after me assisting them only to tell me who’s my 10 o clock appointment well you gotta wait cause I got a phone appointment to do really…..even when you go to the teller weather it’s inside or outside you still gotta wait 10 or more minutes I understand that staff is short everywhere but come on how long you need to deposit/cash a check this has become the McDonald’s of banks horrible services no sense of urgency or customer service at all
My wife and I went to deal with her mother's account since she passed away. We were told we couldn't be seen today and needed to make an appointment, earliest of which is 6 days away. They used to hold my paychecks for 3 days despite never having an overdraft AND paying for overdraft protection, just in case until I got an account with a better bank. They actively work against customer service. Take your business elsewhere. The shrubs on the St. James Avenue side block the view of the street so you can't see oncoming cars, giving them another chance to hurt you as you leave.
Their ATMs… the worst. Will never allow me to deposit money. So then what’s the point? Grow as a company in 2022 a multibillion dollar company can get ATMs to be larger to accommodate customers. RIDICULOUS. get with it.
I go to this branch almost everyday for our business deposits and dread every minute of it! They are either closed for some reason, like weather or because the do not have staffing! STAFFING they do not have and it really hurts their customer service. I don't think anyone likes to wait in a line, but it happens sometimes. Well, at this branch it is a daily occurrence! They might have 2 tellers on if that, then a lot of people walking around with clipboards asking, "do you need a deposit slip?' When we really want then to help with our banking needs. Don't they cross utilize employees? They should! you have people in line for at least 20 minutes and an employee is sitting in their office surfing the web ....I would love it if my employer would change banks.
This bank absolutely needs to figure out what they are doing, this is the closest bank to and it's like every other week they randomly close the whole office, I make weekly deposits for my clients at this branch and it's really frustrating when I can't do that and have to go out of my way to summerville that doesn't have a drive through option. If yall are going to randomly close just close up the whole building and put something in it's place bc clearly yall have some issues. You all could have at least had 2 people in this building and allowed people to use the drive through.
