First, I LOVE Bank of the West, and I recently moved to San Clemente.  This morning it took 20 minutes to attempt to make a deposit with cash back. The teller was unable to read a clearly written deposit slip noting cash back; after the 10 minute discussion, she then still got the numbers incorrect.  After discussing AGAIN, she attempted to give me the incorrect amount of the written down cash back.  To add my concern, the deposit could not be made in front of me as their system was down.  EVERY TIME I asked what the problem was, I was told nothing, then I was then told the system was down.  Wont be back, will go the other branches where the tellers know math.

Terrible customer service from the commercial loan division. Was passed off to Brent Santos from a banker here who tried to push a SBA loan on me and offered me a very low and insulting loan through their business program despite having no debt and significant assets in our business. Once I told him I wanted to pursue a line of credit through my family's home due to their low loan offer he said he would get back to me but never did and flat out dropped me. I looked to another bank I currently used and was much happier, I would recommend looking elsewhere as bank of the west doesnt seem to want to help their clients or get their old business back

All bank of the wests have horrible service and I recommend not getting a vehicle loan here!!!

1 cage worker , waited a 1/2  hour for help .
