Baptist Medical Center Beaches

I was admitted to the hospital from the ER room ! everyone I encounter from the ER staff to everyone on the third floor who took care of me was friendly made me feel comfortable. This is my first time ever amid to the hospital and they made my stay easy. I had to spend my birthday in the hospital which they brought me cake a song we happy birthday really made my hospital Stay pleasant. I will recommend this hospital even though they was extremely busy. I feel that I was not forgotten about. Thank you baptist beaches Staff for taking great care of me.

When an organization values its employees, it sends a powerful message of respect and appreciation. Unfortunately, I can't really give more than 1 star for this institution. The way they treat my mom and fired her was unfair and way beyond respect for an employee working there for 2 years. The environment services management needs to do better.

A Baptist Health Dr...Jennifer Manuel Madden is the WORST SURGEON EVER! I wouldn't let her operate on an abandoned dog. She screwed up my wrist surgery so badly, it's taken a far superior surgeon two revision surgeries just to make my hand/wrist functional again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Do your research... or find a good Attorney.

Disappointed with the care received! The incompetence of the staff was astounding! They didn’t even bother to clean the wound or give me directions on how to take care of the wound. They were like the the antibiotics will take care of it! On another note when they say they will return in a minute it really means they will return in an hour or two! Will never return to this location! Arrogant doctor and CNA! And the transporter who came to take me up to the ward didn’t bother to wipe down the wheelchair! My husband noticed a red substance and notified her! And she just had an ‘oh well’ attitude! Do better Baptist! Smh!

It was a great experience from check in to the actually lab work itself. Everyone was friendly and prompt. I really appreciate how respectful they were of my time.

Well not surprised by BMC dirty rooms, a physician who doesn't have compassion, and treats parents like we are stupid. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name as her badge was turned around. Plus excuse on why the door can't stay open when the xray team needs to take images on a minor, from the x ray tech. Sara who was sitting outside of my sons door and our nurse was amazing. Also my favorite part of the day is when the triage nurse said "I guess the blood letting worked". Not surprised by this hospital after hearing a sepsis patient about died in their waiting room.

Zero Stars: I had a terrible experience at the Emergency Room at Baptist Medical Center Beaches on Saturday night, 8/29/23 around 11pm-1am. I was neglected and miss-treated by the staff. I was left to sit in pain without help for over an hour after seeing the physician. The ER Physician was efficient and kind, but the staff were rude, nasty, very uncaring, and extremely slow. When I complained to the BMC-Beaches Patient Advocate, she blamed the neglect on the ER Physician, not the staff. I hope to not have to go to this hospital ever again. I initially asked the ambulance driver to take me to another hospital, because of previous poor service at BMC-Beaches, but the paramedic responded, "we're not a taxi service, if you want to go to another hospital, drive yourself." I went home by Uber. I was not offered assistance nor a wheelchair to exit.

I give 4.8 stars. Both R.N. Alecia & her crew, and R.N. Clara & her crew were absolutely fantastic and very caring and attentive. R.N. Janet & her crew were nice. The doctors were very good at explaining what they felt was going on with me and expressing their thoughts and concerns. Private room was very clean along with everything that a patient would need. They took very good care of me in I.C.U.

The new system works! I have been going to the Baptist Beaches lab for the past twelve years. All this time I have been retired and have attempt to choose times that minimize my waiting time. The new customer-friendly software and physical facility changes i.e. separate blood work office implemented over this past year have slashed my wait times! And short wait times make for both happy customers AND happy employees. Then comes blood lab results in less than 24 hours via my Baptist Portal! And I no longer have to manually compare my latest results with prior results. What's not to like?

I got excellent care in ER. I was there on 10/13 and 10/15. They explained everything that they were doing. Dr and nurses were very professional
