BAR 2909 is a backyard inspired casual open-air gathering place that offers indoor and outdoor seating in the heart of the West 7th Entertainment District here in Ft. Worth TX. We offer a laid back vibe that boasts the most outdoor friendly service area in all of W 7th. At BAR 2909, it's always "casual" with cold beer & spirits, great service and phenomenal views.

Our lushly appointed and landscaped outdoor area adjoins the covered patio of our outdoor space, creating a soft transition into the yard that will be complete with fire treatments, outdoor TV's and casual seating that’s sure to make you feel right at home.

We went for the Britney Brunch on 03/12/23. I had children with me and the owner came up to us and assured me that the bar was family friendly during the day. I guess he read my face or had some type of intuition, but he was extremely nice and inviting. We had the BEST time! The bartender was so friendly and the other staff were amazing as well! We will definitely be back. Thanks for the great time!
We had a great time at bar 2909 . We took grandma to see some live music for free! Plus the staff was fun,polite and professional. We look forward to another great time here in thr future.
I was assaulted by the bathroom attendant AT THIS BAR! I went to meet up with my friends who were already in the bathroom and this huge lady who was the bathroom attendant. I’ve seen her in there before and I think she was selling stuff to to people in there. She grabs my arms very aggressively and yells at me. This is unprofessional. It wasn’t on a Wednesday night, and it’s extremely disrespectful that after writing about this, the owner tells me I have the wrong place.
Love this place. Great new retractable cover gives plenty of shade! Awesome drinks, fun atmosphere, and dog friendly.
Absolutely the BEST bar in the Cultural District in Ft Worth! BEST service and Bartenders around, period! If you don’t go here you won’t experience the full fun that Ft Worth has to offer! LOVE all the Bartenders!! Awesome staff and security! Safe place to party! Love you 2909!
Just got back from the Fat Tuesday crawfish boil and it was wonderful. The staff are attentive and friendly, the crawfish was delectable, and the vibe was very social and filled with great live music.
We went there for Mimosa Fest. I'm not sure they know what a mimosa is, but neither mimosa that I ordered contained juice. It was 34 degrees when we went. Most of their seating is outside. They have two heaters, of which only a select few tables are underneath. Brunch was advertised as part of Mimosa Fest. There was a taco truck that took 40 minutes for an order. The place seems very nice, everything was just poorly executed and not thought out. It was extremely disappointing, especially since it was an organized event with tickets that we had to purchase ahead of time. I'd think twice before coming here for any events, but I'm sure it's a nice place to have a few drinks and chill
This bar is good for a nice night. It's not too big, but it has TVs, lounge sections, place where you can dance in the center. It is almost all outside. Bar tenders were pretty fast, even though they were busy. So I appreciate that!
Went for Cinco de Mayo. Place seemed pretty chill, I'd go back for the bar tender...
Went there on a Saturday afternoon. Everything else in the 7th street area was super packed. Popped into 2909 since it was not very busy. Ordered a shiner beer and it was 8 bucks! I figured I would order a coors light next time and save some money and guess what? 8 bucks! It's a great place to hang out but now I know why it wasn't busy when everything else was.
