Bar Harbor Beer Works

We rented out the upstairs at this location for our wedding after party. What a neat space! It was just redone, and is actually HUGE. There was a lounge type area, an outdoor space, and a huge dance floor. They had a little sign outside with our names on it, which was a nice touch! They let my husband DJ our party, a prior passion of his, and we had such a fun night. They set us up with some late night munchies which were great. The bartenders were SO fun, and even gave my husband and I some complimentary drinks at the end of the night. They let us extend our party from 11am to 1am, which was very last minute- but we were grateful to continue to party there! We 100% would use this space again. You could really hold your entire wedding reception there. Thanks you guys!

Had a fantastic experience here! The service was great and all of the food tasted awesome! I’d recommend the salmon with chili lime glaze. Only drawback is that it closes early 9 pm.Food: 5/5

Not impressed with the food here. The cheese curds were very spicy even when the waiter said there were not that spicy. We had a hard time to eat them. We ordered the mac n cheese with grilled chicken and the lobster mac n cheese and it wasn't good. The mac n cheese tastes like boxed cheese. The flavor was not good. The flavor was so weird. I would think that a place like this would make their own cheese sauce and it will be good. Very dissapointed with the food. The service and the drinks were good though.

We really enjoyed our visit to Bar Harbor Beer Works!!! The selection of local beer is awesome. The Blueberry Ale by Atlantic Brewery is served with fresh blueberries, it tastes fantastic. The blueberry jalapeno wings were very tasty, and were breaded and fried deliciousness! The lobster mac 'n" cheese was beautifully done, creamy, meaty goodness. The meat was fresh and not overcooked, the sauce was cheesy and smooth; gorgeous. We also sampled the blueberry pie, how nice it was finish an exemplary meal with a delectable dessert. The blueberry pie was truly amazing, the crust was crisp, buttery and delicious, the filling was sweet, berry delight. On top of this the service was quick and friendly. I will be happy if I get the chance to come back to Bar Harbor Beer Works!!

The food was phenomenal and the draft list was impressive, but it was overshadowed by the horrendous service. We ordered two flights, which the server asked us to mark on the menu what we wanted, so we numbered them, and the menu was taken and then discarded. The flights came without any designation of what was on them, and the server couldn't tell us what any of the seasonal/rotating selections were. Two of the flight glasses were cracked. Our service was slow despite being there during a slow lunch hour. The server was unfamiliar with the menu and didn't hold an item as was requested.

We had our wedding after party at Beerworks & it was the best way to end our night! We had DJ Jeff Buffington and we literally danced until we closed the place down at 1am! The late night snacks were a hit and everyone raved about the sliders. Thank you Meghan for helping to make such a memorable night!!Food: 5/5

Ordered what was advertised as a smash burger. It was already pricey at $23 with fries, but when it came it was two perfectly round brown pucks. Patties were clearly out of a box. I'm not one to send back food, but after the false advertisement on the menu and the price it went back after a couple bland bites. Beers were pricy too at $10 a pop, but that may be the norm for the town. Waitor was very friendly and apologetic about the food and did take it off the bill.

We visited on a Wednesday afternoon and were seated pretty quickly. Unfortunately we had to ask who our server was after waiting for 10 minutes. The food came quickly but was sub-par for the price. I understand it’s a tourist town and those prices line up with other restaurants, but the quality of the food was seriously lacking. Also, the blaring dance remixes of pop songs and clubbing music was a bit over the top. Good beer selection but avoid making this place your stop for a meal.

The food was great! I ordered the chicken tenders and fries, and they tasted top tier! Our server, Keith, was so friendly and very quick! Overall a nice place! Also, it is very dog-friendly, we took our pup and there were others there as well! Kid-friendliness: Includes a kids menu!

We decided to eat inside, which was very quiet! Our server was fantastic, and noticed the little things like my husband adding a lemon to his water. The portion sizes were generous. I had the pulled pork sandwich which had good flavor. The spicy cheese curds were good but be aware the spice is not a jokeFood: 5/5
