I truly enjoyed my first time here! Straight forward experience, and very friendly staff. I asked for their recommendation and they recommended the Cali-Club which I really enjoyed. Will go back for sure when back in town.

Good portion. Clean establishment. Super flavorful sandwich. Clam chowder was okay. Staff is friendly and prompt. Great first time experience overall.

First time: I told the staff it’s my first time and I might need help. But she suggested the bread and was super helpful. Brought the sandwich home and OmG the sandwich was delicious! I got the Bay Area special. I am def going to go back!

This is one of my favorite deli's in the area. I usually get the Italian Club or Cali Club. They have a variety of sandwiches , meats and bread. Plenty of chips , drinks and sides to select from. Portions are a good size as well. Everything is made fresh to order. Friendly staff and service. If you're in the area come check this place out!

It really depends who is behind the counter. I wanted a pastrami and Swiss on sourdough it normally comes toasted i don’t normally say I want it toasted they ask if I want it toasted…I forgot to request it. It came out cold and They wouldn’t remake my sandwich. The male manager said I have to request it before and said I would have to order another sandwich if I wanted it hot. The last time I was there my order was lost when they changed printer paper and I waited at least 20 minutes before the manager lady noticed she refunded me ten dollars. The female manager is far better at customer service. Bara’s deli is an Amazing deli.

Best deli sandwiches in the east bay. The Bay Area special sandwich really rocks. Their varieties of sandwiches are really good.

Delectable! My dad had a sandwich shop when I was a little girl. I'd been looking for a place that made sandwiches like his. At last, I've found one! I ate the whole thing, it was soooo good!

Visiting area for work and this place recommended. Went there a few times. Great sandwiches plus you can get lettuce wraps instead of bread if you like, which I did. Loved it!!

My husband brought me a sandwich last night. I thought I wasn't hungry, but OMG! Roast beef, crunchy pickles, all the peppers... it was heavenly!!

Wonderful sandwich place in a corner of San Leandro. They know what they are doing, it is a well-stocked store with just the right selection of items, and you can also buy the sandwich meats directly. I followed the recommendation of the staff and got a turkey/bacon/avocado sandwich that was really excellent. Highly recommended!
