A Native of Southern California. Barbara Mallonee was inspired to enter the dental field from her own transformative experience having braces as a child. This instilled in her a deep desire to help others benefit from the life changing benefits of modern dentistry. Dr. Mallonee attended college at the University of California, Irvine, and matriculated to dental school at The University of California, San Francisco. She excelled in all facets of her training and won the F. Gene Dixon Senior Dental Student Award and The American Society of Dentistry for Children Award. Dr. Mallonee was then accepted into an exclusive General Practice Residency program at St. Francis Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. She returned to Southern California where she opened her practice in Irvine for 20 years and moved to her Corona del Mar location in 2004. Dr. Mallonee is happily married and a mother of three boys. She spends her free time with family, friends, traveling, her new puppy, and just enjoying Newport Beach.
