It’s nice to have a family owned home town business you can depend on when you need good service. John’s Trim Shop is the best!
Purchased a tonneau cover and had it installed. Only took around 1 hr. 2022 Ram 2500 with Ram boxes Good price and work was excellent. Made sure it fit exactly. I would recommend this place and would go back for anything else I needed.
Solid service. These guys are knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely come back.. 6” lift kit , wheels and tires, fender flares. Thanks Clifton
I went to John's this past weekend to have some clear protection film put on my car. It was an all-day job and I had to wait at the shop while the work was being done because I did not have an alternative for transportation. But the staff there told me it was an extensive job, so it was no surprise. There's a very spacious waiting area where my son and I hung out and around lunch time more than one of their staff asked if they could get us something to eat. I felt like they were very conscious about quality of work and wanted to make sure everything was good before I took my car home. I'd rather wait for quality than have them rush it for less than optimal work. The staff were very friendly and I'd definitely return to John's for specialized work on my car.
Brought my husband's 2015 JKU in for AEV lift and axle swap along with GOBI roof rack installation. The work was premium and customer service excellent!
This is a late review regarding the installation of a Tommy Gate and accompanying accessories for my pickup to meet my family's need to transport a heavy motorized wheelchair fall of 2020. My wife recently suffered a serious medical event that left her dependent upon a very technical and VERY heavy motorized wheelchair. No adaptive products offered chair lift solutions for my truck that could safely handle this 418 lb chair and we did not wish to purchase an adaptive vehicle. I needed a piece of equipment that with minimal complexity could safely and quickly load and unload my wife's chair to and from my pickup bed, as well as a simple system to adequately secure this load for transport. Since the chair's manufacturer Quantum offered no solutions for weather-proof covering or virtually anything else, I also needed help with a custom cover that could protect this chair in a thunderstorm while traveling at highway speeds. John's Trim Shop had previously installed an ADA lift in my late mother-in-law's van, and she had been very pleased with the results. We discussed our needs with them and they eagerly accepted the challenge. They expressed sincere interest and care in helping my wife and I find a solution that would permit her the freedom of using her wheelchair in public. The solution that made the most logistical sense was a Tommy Gate lift, something designed primarily for material handling. The model chosen has two motors, a 1,300 lb capacity, and a bi-fold gate that opens into a large platform that is ideal for the configuration of my wife's wheelchair. Because the Tommy Gate would displace the factory tow hitch, a compatible Acme hitch was ordered and installed. I also requested a kill switch installed to prevent unauthorized use of the Tommy Gate while the truck is parked. The installation took approximately one day and was done correctly the first time. The installer trained me on the proper use of the lift. Care had been taken to retain access to the spare tire lift. The installer also successfully relocated my factory tailgate's back-up camera. My Tommy Gate QUICKLY raises and lowers the wheelchair with no issues. I even used it recently to help a family member load and transport both a refrigerator and washer/dryer combo. When unfolded, the gate adds about four more feet of cargo space and the lift makes short work of moving heavy appliances. What a beast! Due to the lift's design, the visibility of my tail lights, while still legal, was minimized enough to cause concern for night safety. The team at John's recommended a favorably priced light strip that mounted below the lift, upon its frame. This strip brightly displays all of my truck's signals, and the brake, reverse, and tail lights. Installation was brief and I am pleased with the vast improvement in road visibility. I had to return once when the product's included adheasive pads began to fail, but the installer reinforced them with a powerful epoxy to resolve the issue at no additional cost. Using a highly durable material called Herculite, the team at John's designed and crafted a custom-fit cover for the wheelchair. So long as I use a tie-down strap to tightly secure this cover to the wheelchair in an outer belt configuration, the wheelchair remains dry and protected during transport in heavy rains winds, and storms. The cover folds and rolls neatly for compact storage inside my bed-mounted toolbox. My wife was elated at gaining the ability to use her wheelchair at church, stores, restaurants, and parks. She received such a sense of independence and dignity as a result. We needed an outside-of-the-box solution and John's Trim Shop nailed it. It has been nearly 11 months since all of these projects were completed and each solution still works very well. I am very pleased with the work John's Trim Shop has performed, as well as their kindness and sensitivity to my wife's needs. They are eager to help others, display integrity, and stand behind their work. I HIGHLY recommend this business to all.
Ordered a hard to find bed cover for my truck through this business. I wasn't going to be in town during their regular business hours, so Clifton met me on his day off so I could take delivery of the cover. When a discrepancy arose with the product I had purchased there was no hesitancy, the issue was solved very quick & professionally. I will be doing business with strictly them from here on out. Thanks Clifton!
I HAVE FOUND MY NEW GO TO SHOP! I dropped off a brand new ford f250 and got a complete build completed by them, Kelderman air bag suspension lift, American force wheels, electric bed cover, painted tailgate letters, and when I say these guys pay attention to detail, that would be a understatement. They treated my truck and build as it was their very own. I highly recommend them from a small installation to a complete build as mine. Guys offered rides to me for my convenience when I needed to leave my truck! You guys earned a customer here for sure! Thanks again Clifton, Chris and everyone involved on my build!
Awesome truck accessories shop. LOTS of displays in stock to lay your hands on and great customer service too. We walked out with a printed estimate.
Had my 97 Ford truck drivers seat repaired by John's trim shop. It had broken springs and was in bad shape. They fixed it like new for a lot less than it would take to replace it. I highly recommend this business for truck trim parts and more. Thank you Todd.
