Peter Barber has been making a difference in our community for most of his 17 years as an Oak Park resident. He was elected to the OP District 97 School Board for eight years, and served as the board's president and vice president. He was subsequently elected to the Oak Park Village Board in 2013, and is now completing his first term as a Trustee. Professionally, Peter is an Executive Vice President of Lipman Hearne, Inc., a Chicago-based marketing agency that works with colleges, foundations and other nonprofit organizations. He's an active member of St. Catherine-St. Lucy Parish, and does volunteer work for the American Marketing Association, Mikva Challenge, and other organizations.

Glenn E. Brewer currently serves on the Village of Oak Park Board of Trustees. Additionally, Glenn works full-time for the FDIC as a Community Affairs Specialist in the Chicago Office. Glenn began his career with the FDIC in November 1993. As a Community Affairs Specialist, Glenn's responsibilities include acting as a liaison between community groups, bankers and the FDIC on fair lending regulations and community development and reinvestment opportunities. Glenn also acts as a resource person for FDIC compliance examiners on matters concerning fair housing and fair lending laws. Glenn was born in Chicago and grew up in the Austin neighborhood on the city's Westside. He received his undergraduate degree in Communications from Northwestern University. Glenn is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law - Illinois Institute of Technology and a member of the Bar of the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Lori Malinski was born in Chicago and grew up in Logan Square. Lori is formally educated in creative writing, pop culture, media, film, and photography. Through her love of music, she became interested in politics and community organizing at an early age, which sparked her career in the non-profit sector. Lori has worked in organizations of various sizes and missions, including the American Bar Association, Alzheimer's Association, AIDSCARE Chicago, and Sarah's Inn. In 1998, Lori and her husband moved from the Belmont Craigin area to Oak Park. Lori got to know the local business community through a position as Business Association Liaison for the (then) Oak Park Development Corporation. While there, Lori worked closely with the North Avenue and Roosevelt Road Business Associations. She's very proud of her work in putting the wheels in motion for the Roosevelt Road renaissance. She is currently the director of development at Oak-Leyden Developmental Services, which is celebrating 60 years in Oak Park empowering children and adults with developmental disabilities. Lori has a demonstrated commitment to Oak Park. She has developed strong relationships with local businesses, municipalities, non-profits, and families in this community. She is involved with the Oak Park River Forest Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the League of Women Voters of Oak Park, and is Vice President of the North Avenue Business Association. In between her non-profit endeavors, Lori has provided management, booking, and public relations for several bands, provided articles and photograph for Chicago Music Magazine, and exhibited her photos at Around the Coyote. She enjoys time with her husband, teen-aged son, and their dog. Her favorite pastime is relaxing on her porch, the very reason that brought the family to Oak Park.
