Very good Tapas spot in Stamford. Tortilla Spanish style and grilled shrimp and garlic were fantastic. Lomo lamb dish was good as well. Local beers were fine - but ask for recommendations on the Spanish wines. Great lively vibe - very friendly and helpful staff! Will be back!
Visited this Barcelona, Stamford location after many suggestions from my friends and co-workers. Been there twice already in ten days. First time was a great/pleasant experiencefirst two pictures , when it came to second time third picture was on this Monday evening, one of the wait staff at the end just took away the glass and food half of calamari which was still being worked on . I did not understand the rush ‍ of clearing the space. Maybe give some time for customers to finish their meal/drink something to consider
Stopped by for brunch for the first time. Absolutely amazing! The best authentic Spanish food that I have had outside of Spain. Must have the Olive Oil Cake, Steak and Eggs, French Toast, Empanadas, and everything else on the menu! Everything was fantastic and service was very good.
I'm not even done with my meal yet and I'm reviewing this restaurant, it is just phenomenal. The menu is based off the tapas style which I adore. My husband, a friend and I came here on a whim. Even though the establishment was incredibly busy, we were seated immediately. The bacon dates will blow your mind, the empanadas are just divine, there is an amazing selection of cheeses, all the drinks we had were just perfect. Be prepared for it to be a little loud the music makes it hard to hold a conversation but the food comes out quickly and the General Manager introduced himself and asked how we are doing. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or dinner on the last night of our vacation.
Such a great dinner here. They have so many options to choose from. The staff is very knowledgeable and great with recommendations. For drinks, we got the dos peninsulas 10/10, summer street swing 5/10, tasted like vodka lemonade, and a bottle of the Aylin 7/10 affordable but also a little cheap, nutty hints. For food we got the Gambas AMAZING 11/10, beef empanadas 10/10 could have had 20, patatas bravas 10/10, mushroom croquetas 8/10 good but weird texture and very heavy, short ribs 7/10, good but for the price not great, hummus 5/10, San símon cheese 4/10 and salcgichón de Vic 5/10 tasted just like TJs. Overall definitely excited to come back and try more of the menu!
For most parts, it was enjoyable excepted for the steak was a bit tough. The biggest blunder was serving luke warm cappuccino and coffee with desserts.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes

everything i ordered was absolutely delicious! the staff was so friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back again when I’m in town. I was staying across the street for work so I’m so happy this was in walking distance. Cute table insidethe doors were open so I could people watch haha. I ordered the sea scallops, grilled hanger steak with truffle vinaigrette, the pork belly and the olive oil cake which came with ice cream which i enjoyed in my room later.
One of my favorite restaurants overall! Right in the heart of Stamford. My most recent visit there was beyond AMAZING! Music and vibes in the restaurants were A1! They had a different music selection and while I'm eating and drinking wonderful wine I'm hopping lol.. never before but wasn't complaining. One of our go tos would be the charcuterie plate; tons of meats and cheeses to choose from. They have lots of "tapas" small of plates of deliciousness. I just had the mushroom croquetas with a truffle aioli photo below perfect crunch on the outside and mushroom blend in the inside! So so yummy. Please make a stop there! I promise you won't regret it.
Great place for tapas and wine. I've never had a bad experience here, even when they're super busy and sometimes take a little bit to come 'round to one's table. Brandon is a gem; what a lovely, wonderful human being. Matt is a fantastic guy as well; we are always greeted warmly and are welcomed and accommodated whenever possible. I highly recommend the Granache wines, and especially the wine tasting flight.
