Barclays Center showcases the world’s most thrilling entertainment and sports events right in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. Developed by Brooklyn-based real estate developer Forest City Ratner Companies and designed by the award-winning architectural firms AECOMM and SHoP Architects, Barclays Center serves as the home of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets and boasts one of the most intimate seating configurations ever designed for a modern multi-purpose arena. Approximately 18,000 seats with unparalleled sightlines are ready to welcome sports fans to the action and audiences of up to 19,000 can be accommodated for musical performances. Brooklyn’s own Jay-Z has sold out eight shows that launch Barclay Center’s inaugural season—already packed with world-class talent such as Barbra Streisand, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, the Who, Bob Dylan, John Legend, Neil Young, Andrea Bocelli, Journey, Rush, Leonard Cohen and Juan Luis Guerra and Juanes, among others. The arena’s 101 luxury suites, four bars/lounges, three clubs and the newest location of Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club & Restaurant by American Express all guarantee that an event at Barclays Center is destined to be a memorable one.

Guys, what an experience. 1st basketball game ever and I can see what the hype is all about. Getting there is the easiest thing in world as you have the subway right across the entrance to the stadium. Security is strict when entering the stadium and is managed very well by the security personnel. The inside is magical. You can order food and drinks and it is fast and easily accessible on all floors. Finding your seat will be easy or just ask the friendly staff working there. I took my son to watch the Brooklyn Nets and it was one of the best bonding experience with him and you cannot visit NYC and not watch a game.
A terrific arena, a wonderful experience. Entering was very quick, efficient and friendly. Corridors are wide, finding your seats is easy. And the seats are wide and pretty comfortable! Place is immaculate, brightly lit and nicely air conditioned. Security personnel looks like security but behaves like we were all old pals. Very nice. Half time the lines for the restrooms and food are long but move quickly. Credit cards only, but there are machines to convert your cash to a card. I was there for a Liberty game with my daughter and her aunt. Everyone warned me how boring it would be. “Who likes to watch women’s basketball?!!” Well, as it turned out, I do! No slam dunking which I find to be a form of ‘look at me!’, no trash talking, no chest beating. Just a smooth, professional, surprisingly physical game of hoops. And the crowd and the players were like family. No booing, even for the most egregious unforced error. And before the game the players were accessible to their young fans. Great game, great arena, easy exit.
This is hands down one of the best concert venues in NYC. I passed through security within 7 minutes. Staff are professional, helpful, and kind! Bathrooms are SPOTLESS. You just need to walk in a circle to find food. The seats are comfortable and spacious. There are no bad seats at this venue. One thing I would change are the food options. Everything is practically fried. Some healthier options would be appreciated!!
We went to 2 Liberty games vs the Connecticut sun..and both games we won YAY..THE VIEWS ARE AMAZING the vibe was comfortable and a experience I will love to keep having here in Barclay's and yes I've been here many times also in concerts and other cool events here..Wait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
Had my graduation here today! It’s a pretty iconic place for graduations in NY and of course tons of games. It’s not any out of the word stadium but does what it is supposed to do. There is a lounge and a AMEX shop inside for drinks and coffee and some snacks. Parking could be problem around so plan it accordingly. It has amazing connectivity through subway though.
1st time at this event space. It was amazing. The seats are large and very comfortable and the stadium itself is somewhat small so you can really explore the space easily and quite fast. Biggest and most upsetting part of my experience is the fact you can’t take your water bottle? I wanted the logo and a take away from being here and they said I couldn’t take my own paid for water bottle. They open your water bottoms pour the water into another plastic cup. What a waste of plastic and for what reason? Wasteful and stupid. So congratulations on killing our planet one plastic cup at a time.
Just a wonderful arena ! The NY Liberty and the whole experience of the game was amazing. The space and the staff were great. Extremely long lines outside before doors opened and everyone had to go through security but they had so many staff working that getting through was a breeze. Bathrooms were clean and attendants consistently cleaned during the games and shows . Plenty of ushers to help you find your seats. Can’t wait to get back This is a cashless building with reverse ATMs available for you to make purchases at the concession stands.
I went out at an exit which is not the one I entered, and I was a bit lost in the stadium, since it’s like a circle and the vendors and stores were closed after the concert. Better make sure the direction, especially if you are meeting someone after the eventVisited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
Went here for a kpop concert. First time at this arena, i have to say it is one of the easier stadiums to navigate and much easier to than msg and other arenas. Small but clean and nice. Staff was also very nice and kind. Security was very fastVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
