Must-try burger place in Covington. Burgers are excellent. Fries are fresh-cut and crispy. Fried pickles are some of the best I've had. Cheese curds are also great. Service is good. The restaurant overall is a bit small, so it would be hard to go with a party of more than about 6 and all sit together.
Went in for dinner again after a CluedUpp scavenger hunt. Both times about 8 people in our party and they were happy and fast to accommodate us. The service was pretty fast and friendly as it is. The food was good. The food is pretty good too. They have a range of stuff and fresh donuts from Moonrise up the street. We will be back for dinner again!
Hair cooked into my burger but I didn't want to spoil my guests experience, so I took it for carryout and ordered a mojito and greek salad. Cheese kurds were better than expected. So back to the hair, everyone was wearing hairnets, it must have happened in the prep or walk-in area. Parking: Behind and off the alley.
Great little hole in the wall burger place. Loved the mushroom Swiss burger, chili cheese fries, fries are fresh cut, double fried, just super. Staff super nice, food came out quick, hot and delicious!Food: 5/5
I've had a lot of burgers in my time, but this is definitely in the top 5 of all of them. The menu is simpleish yet.....has lots of items to enhance the dining experience. The burger I had was cooked perfectly juicy,tender and full of flavor. Also did the French fries with gravy and shredded cheese....I can foresee myself trying more of what they have to offer. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Btw, donut bread pudding is huge and decadent!
Stopped by Bard's for the first time. It was delicious! The Five-O burger was great and the half cheese curds and half fried pickles is perfect portion. Renee was awesome too!Food: 5/5

This is possibly one of the best burgers I've ever had. I ordered the Bard BQ cheeseburger and fries. So good! I highly recommend the pickle chips too. Service was great and so was the welcome when we walked in. 10/10 would recommend Kid-friendliness: Our son really loved the plain cheeseburger.
When you go to Bards Burger Just know it's gonna be delicious. I highly recommend the Deluxe Burger as its just a Great burger. The Mushroom Love Burger is also excellent and loaded with grilled mushrooms and onions on a tasty toasted bun so your bun doesn't get soggy at all. The Hand cut fries are tasty and crisp. Their chili is Cincinnati style and lean beef so it's fine and not oily. THE CHEESE CURDS....you gotta get a full order or you'll kick yourself... so crispy and lightly salty... and a breading that's so thin and crisp it's more like batter coated yet not.... They are just so good... There is public parking near by too. We will definitely visit again. Features: They clean tables etc and clean laminated menus.
This place is fantastic!!! The poutine, the fried cheese curds and fried pickles, the delicious fresh off the grill burger flavor, the homemade 5 way and the DONUT BREAD pudding. Thank goodness this place is so out of the way for me otherwise I’d gain 30 lbs a month
