We had a barden home built 12 years ago and it already needs a new roof I would not recommend barden to anybody very poorly constructed
We just completed our dream home with Barden and L.J Klein and we couldn't be happier! Building during a pandemic was not the easiest but they went out of their way to make it possible. There were multiple times that there were product delays but they would personally drive quite the distance to make sure that we received them ON TIME! Everyone that we dealt with was 100% responsive and available for any questions and concerns which always made us feel informed and totally involved in the process. Special thanks to Donnie, Lori, Aaron, Todd, Deb and all the contractors. Without you guys we wouldn't have our dream home. You all worked so hard during a pandemic out of your control, but we as the homeowners never felt that. It was a true pleasure meeting and working with you all!
I built a Barden Home 18 yrs ago and to this day one of the best decisions I ever made. The independent dealer at the time in my area did not work out but I was able to complete my home, with the support of barden, myself. The quality of materials from the lumber, windows, cabinets, door locks...was all top notch as evidenced by the warranties these products carry even today. I still call customer service at barden once every couple years for a question and the service I receive is always outstanding. Many of the people there i spoke with 18 yrs ago when I was building. Constructing a home is a stressful experience and barden helped me through it. I would build again with barden!
My daughter and I met with Barden's local dealer to review their home packages. We also spoke directly with Andrew Barden about buying one of their home package kits. Since my daughter had spoke to one of their dealers they were unwilling to provide a quote to us for just a package. I felt this was unfair and possibly illegal since they frequently sell their kits directly to owners that want to manage the construction of their own home. Working with one of their dealers doubles the cost of the package for their management service. Bad customer relations
Barden homes products have been more than satisfactory. When I had some trouble with my General Contractor unrelated to Barden Homes they provided me with the resources I needed to ensure that in the end my house was everything I was promised from the start.
The service was the best I have experienced. I loved how you can build your own Barden. 10/10 would go again.
