Bareburger

Description

At Bareburger, we take a simple, joyful and organic approach to food. We believe that fresh, vibrant, clean food served in a fun place can make the world smile. Ingredients should be sourced as close to home as possible, but if Wisconsin has the best cheese and Montana knows bison as well as Texas knows elk, we believe that above all else, partnerships should make sense. We take as much pride in preparing and cooking our food as we do sourcing it. The point is, we are not those “pre-cook” guys. We do not reheat. We cook fresh, we serve fresh. We do it right the first time, even if it takes a few extra minutes. Whether you are impeccably health-conscious, or strictly appreciative of great grub, we have something you’ll happily devour. We don’t serve the biggest burger. We don’t serve the smallest burger. We serve the most responsible burger. We may not have a dollar menu, but we do have the quality, flavor and love that every organic, delicious burger deserves.

"Bareburger is the leader in America's "better burger" trend, emphasizing high-quality, ethically sourced, all-natural & sustainable ingredients in a casual environment. Since our founding in 2009, we've taken pride in serving clean comfort food to our communities, and offer choices that feel good for everyone. From burgers and salads to shakes, beer & wine—our mindful menu is full of delicious variety you'll love!"

Great food and staff is super friendly. I have seen this place and never tried it until today. Loved the Wrangler burger. Bison was well cooked and very tasty. The sweet potato fries were amazing. Not oily and not burnt at all. My son ordered the spicy ranch chicken and all I got to say if I could eat more than 1 burger, I would've got that too.
I have been coming here for years. I get the burgers, salads, and chicken. All are amazing. From the black bean patty, wild boar, to the classic beef. Today I got the impossible burger! It is potato and plankton made to simulate beef. Wow this burger is close to beef as you can get. I like my burgers on the rare side and this burger feels smells and tastes like a well done burger. So it is like meat but cooked through. I had to keep reminding myself that it wasn't a over cooked burger it was the impossible burger! I would absolutely get it again.
I would have taken pictures if I wasn't so eager to eat it. It's beautifully presented, the fries perfectly cooked, and everything about it 100% appetizing on an aesthetic level. I ordered pick up and was quite eager to see what they had in store for me. Entering the place, they greeted me and already had my food ready that I ordered in advance of their opening so I could have lunch. The atmosphere and cleanliness of it has me considering eating-in at some point. When it comes to food, I have a more sensitive stomach and I stay away from processed food as much as possible. My burger was cooked to perfection and I was not disappointed as it had great flavor and was so filling with such bare necessities that I have no regrets ordering from here. It's the perfect size and paired with an order of fries, is a meal for just anyone. The smoke sauce was definitely a GREAT addition. The pickles are full of flavor and have the perfect crunch, and the amount of mayo that they add complements without it being overdone. You gotta try it out! Five stars from me.
We had a nice experience. Was it the best burger? No. Was it a good burger? Yes. The service was great and the food was tasty. They have a lot of options so there is something for meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. The shake at the end was very good. Creamy, smooth, huge, and topped with a toasted marshmallow. The restaurant itself is clean and maintained well. The also have a nice craft beer selection and happy hour with $5 beer. We will be back.
Food was fresh and delicious. Had a nice atmosphere. This place is a tad bit pricey but it's because you're paying for fresh organic food. The menu is definitely geared towards more healthier options then anything so if you're looking for a ton of greasy fatty options this is not the place but if you're looking for something that will satisfy like a normal Burger meal would but in a much healthier form than this is the place for you
Unbelievable!!! Had an "Impossible Burger" it was incredible. In fact the entire meal was excellent and went very well with the rest of our order. Service was great absolutely recommend this place whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian or even a vegan you'll find something delicious and you'll be glad you went.
I hate to give bad reviews, but I have to say something. My boyfriend is vegetarian and is always looking for new places to eat. He heard about Bare Burger and was excited to try it. We checked on google to see their hours and they were supposed to be open until 10:30on a Saturday. We drove there from about 20 minutes away arriving at about 9:45 and were told that they close at 10! First off, they could have made our food in 15 min. Secondly, if they were closing, a smart manager would have offered us a coupon to come back another time and apologize for the inconvenience. Not this guy, we were told that it was Google's fault for not updating the site. Really? If they knew about the issue it should have been fixed. Sadly, I cannot report on the actual food as we did not get to try it, but the service is obviously lacking. We wound up going across the street to the Port Washington Diner which was excellent. Very dumb on the managers part at Bare Burger, he could have gained two customers. Instead he lost two potential customers who, without even getting to try the food, were left with a bad taste in their mouths and will not be going back.
Really stand out for good food. We had take out, but it was all very good. I had the Buckaroo, a burger topped by great brisket with sauteed onions. Add some fries and rings and you're full! Also excellent Turkey burger, clearly hand formed, not a frozen party thrown on a grill. Ready when promised, even on a busy Saturday night.
Disappointing. Service was mediocre. They got one of our custom orders all wrong. The french fries were soggy. Portions small. Bill was like $120 for four people even though we didn't really order that much. Our clothes all smelled like grease when we left. Much rather go across the street to the Port Washington diner and get a great burger for half the price.
Staff is very friendly. I used to like this place a lot better years ago when the menu was more varied. I used to like the different types of meat options for burgers like elk, bison, boar, etc. Now it's mainly beef. I can get beef anywhere.
