Vicky is an amazing Trainer! I have been looking for the best trainer for my German Shepherd puppy and she nailed it! we started straining at 8 weeks with quick results with her puppy management training and continue to see Vicky to this day. Our puppy is happier than ever using Bark Busters methods and see immediate results. I highly recommend Vicky for anyone seeking a humane, non physical, natural way to train your dog.
We had a great experience with Vicky the Bark Busters trainer. We were having some trouble with Louie our little Pomeranian Mix pup. Louie is very high energy and he’s a barker. Vicky was able to explain to us why Louie was acting out and how to stop him from his bad behavior. I can’t believe how much better Louie is already in just one lesson! He is learning to listen to us and stay calm when guests enter and exit our home. Vickie showed us the proper way to correct him in a calm manner. Vicky at Bark Busters is a life saver. I can tell she loves what she does and is very passionate about having happy and well behaved dogs. I highly recommend Vicky for your dog training.
My family found Bark Busters Orland Park very helpful in showing us how to train our family's first dog. A Yorkie-Poo named Charlie. Our trainer was Vicky Harper.We found Vicky very knowledgeable and very personable. I appreciated how she related her personal dog stories into what we were going through. Vicky gave us much encouragement as we worked on developing various skill sets that we and Charlie would need. We would practice different aspects of Charlie's care daily and then Vicky always made herself available to return and assess our techniques and provide feedback and encouragement accordingly. Personally, i found this demonstration and return demonstration in real time very helpful in helping us to learn the proper techniques.Vicky was always available to answer our questions.And to reassure us that with time and practice Charlie and we will master the techniques that she taught us. And know what? She was right!
Vicky was very informative and patient with us. She gave specific steps to follow to lead to desirable behaviors for our dogs. We had adequate time to practice and she gave us suggestions to make our corrections successful. I was most concerned about being able to walk my dogs without them pulling. After the first session, I saw so much progress with my dogs' ability to walk nicely on a leash. I am excited for our next session and feel very confident with the process that Vicky uses. I love that the training focuses on communicating with our dogs in a way that they understand and also that the techniques used are humane. I highly recommend Bark Busters.
Vicky's training has been a huge blessing to our family. We are a very busy household with 2 little ones and when we got a puppy I worried we may be in over our head. From the first visit, Vicky was patient, caring and extremely knowledgeable. She is clearly a master of her craft. Our puppy, Arrow, immediately respected her and allowed her to instruct. Vicky provided us with the tools and the confidence to enjoy the wonderful puppy we have! We now get compliments all the time on how well-behaved our 7 month old puppy is! I would highly recommend Vicky's services to anyone that is in the market for training. We are forever grateful!
Vicky was amazing! Came to the house to help us develop the skills that WE wanted to work on for our dog Harley! In just a few weeks we saw a huge improvement in our dogs behavior! She was so helpful and not only gave us tips on how to improve our dogs behavior, but also explained to us why she was doing everything she was doing! As new puppy owners, we were so glad to find Bark Busters. Vicky has helped us with all aspects of puppy training as well as giving guidance on promoting optimal health. She is clearly very experienced and our pup respected her from day one. She gives lots of positive reinforcement to both pet and owner to ensure you are successful. This is not the typical treat-driven training you find at the big box pet stores. It's much better! Vicky genuinely cares for the pups she works with. Highly recommend.
I would highly recommend Vicky and Bark Busters to everyone I know. Vicky is absolutely fantastic! We have a 3 year old Maltese who was having issues adapting to our new puppy and started acting out, but after our first class with Vicky we were able to see improvements in her behavior right away! Vicky is extremely knowledgable and was able to provide us with great information and techniques that have been fantastic for both of our dogs! They looked forward to seeing Vicky every week! She provided a great atmosphere for the dogs to interact and learn together. I am so grateful that we found Vicky!!
Vicky has helped explain to my four children and myself proper ways to care for our puppy. She has been very patient and addressed our specific puppy issues such as house training, nipping and good house manners. Vicky customized the commands specifically to our dog. She's the perfect choice if you have had little experience with dogs. She was always timely, courteous and easily reachable. I would highly recommend her.
