In creating the client’s own personal “haven”, our clients are a large part of the design process. We meet with all parties involved in a project. We find out what the client’s wish list is for their home and how they want to use each room. With couples, we ask the questions of both people so that the end result really makes them both feel like the space represents the best part of them.
KC was born in W Bridgewater, Massachusetts. She graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., and studied art and architecture in Italy. She has been a resident of Florida since 1983. KC has been the recipient of numerous design and marketing awards for the past 30 years. Her designs have been featured in several magazines including Architectural Digest; Florida Design; Spectacular Homes Hard Cover Books; Vero Beach Magazine ; Tropical Homes; and Vero Home and Design. Our own Model Homes exclusively design & built by Von & KC Barkley were featured in: Florida Design Volume 16#3; Vero Beach Magazine Volume Jan 2006, and Vero Beach Magazine Volume Jan 2010
