Barkley Square Dog Park

I have lived in this area over thirty years, but I didn't know this huge, well maintained, beautiful dog park existed. Our dogs had a great time and the puppy even played in the pond. There are plenty of shady areas, but you should bring chairs for the humans. Also the water for the dogs is near the front, so bring water and a bowl for the dogs because otherwise it's a long walk. Playground: For dogs, yes, for humans, no. Restrooms: Yes Dog-friendliness: Very! Picnic area: There are a few picnic tables.

Not crowded. Very large dog park with minimal shade. It does have a dog water fountain but one is broken so I recommend always bringing your own fresh water system and shade if you can. Make sure to bring towels as pups with be sandy & salty

The biggest dog park I've ever seen. My dogs love swimming the pond and thoroughly enjoy all the space to run. We are about an hour away and it's worth it for us to make the trip about once a month, it's that great here

The well-maintained surroundings and clean facilities were a testament to the park's commitment to creating a pleasant environment for all visitors. The addition of benches and shaded areas provided a comfortable spot for owners to relax while keeping an eye on their pets. The overall atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and the sense of community among dog owners was evident. I had the opportunity to chat with other pet parents, exchange stories, and share tips – it truly felt like a close-knit dog-loving family. In summary, the dog park with a pond exceeded my expectations in every way. It offered a fantastic blend of fun, relaxation, and socialization for both dogs and their owners. It's now our go-to spot for weekend outings, and I can't recommend it enough to fellow dog lovers. If you want a place where your pup can frolic in the water and have a tail-wagging good time, this dog park with a pond is the place to be!

Great park! Drive from port orange to go here. My dog loves it and so do the humans. Plenty of shaded picnic tables to set up at. The pond is wonderful and so far everyone seems to understand their dog and we have had no fights or issues. Theres an area for big dogs, another for small dogs, and another separate space for the pups who don’t quite get along with others or maybe have some anxiety. Whatever the reason/need theres a spot here where your dog can come enjoy the outdoors, run, and play!

Awesome park, lots of room for dogs to play and explore— the pond in the middle would be nicer with a fountain to decrease bacterial growth but otherwise this place is great!

Awesome park .. small dog and big dog side .. big dog side has a big lake for the dogs to swim in .. property is several acres with beautiful, matured trees .. lots of shade if you require.. benches and picnic tables throughout .. even in shaded areas. There are a few training areas where you can close your dog off from others for training or just separating yourself and your dog from all the others for play time .. self dog wash on site. Maintained impeccably .. clean bathrooms .. always mowed, manicured and clean .. doggie bag stations everywhere, filled with rolls of dog waste bags .. lots of parking .. I can't say enough about this park .. one of the best, if not THE best neighborhood parks I've been to. The people and the dogs are awesome, I've never had a problem with either at this park; I go EVERY evening. This is a great place to go and watch the sunset, there's a group of regulars that go each night. Go, you won't be sorry you went!

The largest dog park I've ever been to. Acres of beautiful grass. Large section for small dogs and an even bigger section for big dogs. The big dogs even have their own lake. Public restrooms on site as well.

This is a cool dog park with a lake. The park is divided for big dogs, little dogs, and a timeout area. There are bathrooms onsite. Benches are placed around the park for seating.
