Barn Aid started as the brain child of two Dallas-area chicks who wanted to plan an event to help the community with a theme on local, healthy food and farming.
This year's recipient of the proceeds is Youth Village Resources of Dallas. Participating chefs include Graham Dodds of Central 214, Mark Woottoon of Garden Cafe and Chad Houser.
Ride or drive to area community gardens and farms, collecting produce along the way. Bring it to Eden's where chefs will prepare a community style meal for riders/participants. Guests will be treated to music, key note speaker, farm tour, excellent food and fun.
At dusk, as is Barn Aid tradition, the gates open to the public for the free film and concert. More details will follow soon!
To give back to those who need help in order to help others in return while having a rockin' time doing it!
THIS YEAR'S SPONSORS INCLUDE:
Eden's Organic Garden Center/CSA Farm; Edible Dallas & Fort Worth; Calias Winery; Garden Cafe, i.design, Crave DFW; Transit Bicycle Co. (your company name here...)
