Great experience every time we visit The Barn!! Especially if you are looking to try some unique food. But, there is something for everyone. GREAT french fries and burgers! We hosted a small event in the banquet room here and Joseph was terrific! He went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable and had all of our needs met. Everything was so easy setting up for the evening.. especially as they took care of everything! And all for a great price.. I could go on and on about The Barn!
My wife and I try to make it downtown to eat at the Barn at least once a week, it is just that good. We love the Poutine, if you have been to Canada you know what we are talking about, but I am trying to experience the full menu. So far I have found that the Brasserie's, or burgers, are great there is so much flavor packed in! Also, their soups come in enormous proportions. Besides where else in Muncie can you go and be encouraged to practice your art on the table while waiting on your meal? I highly recommend this place for any occasion.
Great little restaurant. The chef fries were perfect. Cooked in duck fat, with maple? syrup and an egg. Chili dogs were top notch, as were the burgers. Beer selection was very good. The waitress was helpful, friendly, and efficient. Caesar Salad was good.
Great option for pretty healthy food while visiting town. Hummus is great and the salads are wonderful. Very fresh. I really like the fact it's all gmo free. Alf burger tastes great but there's not much to it. Still, overall the place is great, and I'm glad to find a place like this in a smaller town.
We have been numerous time and every time we leave we say WOW! The was the best meal ever! The barn burgers are out of the world and if you haven't tried one you must! The brunch is also great as we tend to go after Church on Sundays. In all this is a little hidden gem in DT Muncie and if you live in the surrounding area you have to come try this place. You will walk away saying this was the best meal ever!
A very interesting restaurant in the downtown of Muncie, the Barn Brasserie serves a unique fusion of food, almost like Soul meets French. It is a little pricey, but the food is of good quality and is definitely a place a person should go to at least once while they are in Muncie.
Great food every time, although I always get the lamb burger. Try it the next time you go! Only negative is how cold the place gets during the winter. Try not to be seated by the back window, or any window/door for that matter.
My fiancée and I have tried to make contact with someone at the restaurant to talk about providing bad service for our wedding. Several weeks later and several phone calls from us both, no one has ever returned our phone calls. Very disappointing and our business went elsewhere.
I'll say that the beer selection is good and I enjoy the rotating menu, but the service is always so slow. I've never had speedy or average service here. BRING BACK WHITE RIVER LANDING
I am pleasantly surprised every time I dine at this joint. There is a great selection and the food is always amazing and delicious! Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!
