Have sent 3 different items to my granddaughter in Barnesville. The 1st 2 were directly through USPS. The 1st was returned saying the address was insufficient. The box was all torn up. The 2nd was an envelope. I have not gotten it back, nor has it been delivered. The 3rd I ordered through Amazon. Guess who Amazon uses for delivery in Barnesville? The USPS on today's delivery, USPS claims attempted delivery, but that the front door was locked. It's a freaking apartment!
I’m starting to think everything in this little city is trash. The mail lady throws packages from a far not caring about what gets damaged and then when you say something to her she acts a little slow, not sure if she has a disability or she’s just weird. We recently moved in and after I caught her launching our packages, we received a letter saying our mailbox was to far away from the street, it’s a porch mailbox and our porch is approx 5ft from the road …. If a carrier is unable to walk less that 1 meter they need to find something else to do. I went to the post office to let them know that we aren’t getting a new mailbox anytime soon and failure to deliver our mail until we are able to get a mailbox May cause me to bring in legal aid and the ratchet dark skinned lady at the post office kept rolling her eyes and talk to me very Condescending. This little place is so strange because before we decided to move into this investment property there was the kindest mail guy who would park his truck and walk all the mail to everyone’s door. We had this property for 6 months before we moved in it and mail seemed fine all the way up until we decided to move here from the city. Can’t wait to post this place for sale. The mail has been the worst out of everything
i hate it bc there's this new fat lady that is now complaining about my mailbox being too low. i have literally been in this house with the same mailbox for 4 years with no problem
This is one of the worst post offices. They can never deliver mail within a reasonable time. I have an overnight package that was sent Tuesday to be here on Friday. Here it is Saturday and no package oh and they have completely removed the package from my Informed Delivery page. I STILL DONT HAVE IT!
Never on time unable to deliver packages that are out for delivery on informed delivery. Has sent packages back stating they couldn’t reach delivery location when my porch is twenty feet from the road. Overall horrible experience with this office in particular.

I went in after sending a print to a customer that was absolutely demolished. In the short time it was in USPS’s care it was ripped and everything in the envelope was water damaged. I went in to see what could be done since I had to ship a replacement. I was told by the man helping me I couldn’t get a refund and would have to do something online and even then probably wouldn’t get my money back. Then he held onto my receipt and didn’t give it back so even if I did want to go online to dispute I couldn’t because he made sure he didn’t give me the information I needed back.
A lady that works the window is the sweetest but as far as the lady who does our mail I'm not a fan. i have had to put a extra mailbox out just to get my packages because she says my other mailbox is too small, so today i go out and she hasn't even used it and sent my mail back to the post office needless to say i have given up, I'm taking down the other mail box and will just add a P.O box for our packages which is sad i have to do that
No stars wouldn't allow me to not mark any stars so one but really -10 on scale. The worst post office around in 50 years being on earth. No one in office can help with anything. Getting paid to lose the mail miss place mail redirect mail to addresses not yours. Total waist of government office with our tax dollars paying. ....
