Barnet Park

I'm not sure why Google recommend this place to me as a walking area, but there is no designated walking trail as far as I could tell. Had to back peddle on multiple occasions. As far as I can see, this spot is probably more appropriate for sports tournaments and events. Not a walking trail.

We were there for the final game for team "CRUSH". It is a very well kept field. It was wonderful watching the little girls play. So much "FUN". Brought back lots of memories. Dog-friendliness: Saw lots of leashed dogs. All happy to see all the activity. Picnic area: Clean

5 Star Park... Best Disc Golf Course in North Carolina. All around great park has everything

The on-site disc golf made for a great morning. It was fairly challenging. Very pretty forest type course. Pretty tight fairways, many trees! Water in play on one or two holes. On the downside, I think signage was missing on a few holes; it wasn’t always clear which way to go, from hole to hole. Ants are indeed an issue here, I saw MANY mounds of Ants during my visit. Use common sense, if you have an allergy to ant bites, you may want to consider doing something else, like visiting the library. In the end, I’m glad I took 2 hours to enjoy the park and the disc golf course. The photo I took shows the view from the hole 1 tee pad. Pretty.

Very clean and well cared for park.... we've been visiting this park since our daughter played 10U, she's 28 now. Good facilities then and now!

Great disc golf Course.

Great place for a softball round Robin tournament with multiple fields set up in decent proximity to each other. Soccer field also. Public restrooms as well as snack bar. Ample parking.

The disc golf trails aren't just for disc golfers. The trails are easily navigable, wide, although when it's been rainy it can be pretty difficult to manage in a couple of areas. Overall, though, this is a fantastic place to come to walk. Don't forget to spend some time at the big tree...

Grand daughter was playing softball. They do need to add sidewalks or some type of handicapped walkway for people like me who used rollators to aid in walking. Lots of roots too. Other than that was fine.

Disc Golf! One of the better courses around. Clean and we'll marked course. Most holes have a pro and am tee and or basket. The front nine is still playable after a hard rain. The back nine is questionable after a rain. For this low country area a hard rain can make areas flood. The course is continually upgraded and kept up.
