Our water turned brown so we called this company as they were referred to us by family. The first day we called we were told we would get a call back from one of the techs by the end of the day. We never received a call so we called again and was told we would get a call the next day and they’ll likely be able to come out to the house that same day. The next day came with no call back. We called again late morning and was told “yanno what let me call the techs and they’ll call you right back”. We never heard from them and are now days behind trying to get our water fixed waiting for their call back that never came. Highly unprofessional.

I called them on a Monday after my water stopped working over the weekend and they were very quick to send Steve out to access and correct the problem. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative and kept me in the loop every step of the way. He had my water back up and running in no time and was very nice to deal with. I am excited to learn they offer geothermal because that is a goal of mine as soon as I get the money saved for it. They will most definitely be the people I go to for this project as I know they actually care about their customers and didn't hesitate to take care of my family's needs when we needed them most so I am confident that they would treat me the same when I need them for any future needs with the geothermal. We contacted Barney and Sons to drill a well for a cabin that our daughter and son-in-law built.   They came out and gave us a very fair estimate and we scheduled a time for them to come and do the work.   The men that drilled the well were professional and completed that part of the project in a very timely manner.   The men that then came to hook everything up to the inside of the cabin were also very professional and got the job done in a timely way.   Everyone -from office staff to the workers on the ground - were easy to work with and answered all our questions about the process. These guys were great. I was out of water for days when the plumbing company was able to come and tell me I needed a well company because my break was in the well itself. They called me back promptly and we set an appointment. They showed up on time when they said they would. John was great and fixed the broken pipe in the well, the main line freeze that was under ther house, as well as the other little issues the previous plumber was unable to fix. Price was fair especially for it being an emergency and nearly single digit degrees outside. Can't say enough about how great these guys were for me!

In response to the negative feed back. We at Barney & Sons apologize for any confusion that you may have about what an estimate is. We gather as much geological data in the area, and check our well logs of near by wells to be as accurate as we can to give our best "estimate". The final price is always subject to change because depths of wells vary as we can never tell exactly where the water will be. We have been in business for over 50 years in a rural area and are not looking to rip anyone off. If that was the case we wouldn't be around very long. It seems that the customer was not upset with the great water that they got with a shallow artisan well. It seems that the confusion lies with the extra work that was preformed to help mitigate the ample amount of springs coming off the hillside. Without going into long drawn out details. I was simply trying to help this customer with there wet backyard by digging a diversion ditch filled with cobble. They were charged our cost for all material for the french drain and seemed happy until it came time to pay for the extra work that they approved. "Time and Material" As for dd's cooking, please call the office and ask for Justin. Id like to know what happened.  And try to make it right. We are a small family business that works with people everyday to make sure that they are a satisfied customer. We will continue to do so for generations to come.
