Delicious place. One of the best steaks I have had in a while. Pasta tastes very authentic and delicious. Viel was great. Definitely recommend. Service a little overrated.

The owners of this restaurant were outside hustling to get us in.... already a bad sign. We settled on this place because we were so hungry. The description for the attached entree said grilled chicken and corn ... like a southwest salad. The chicken wasn't grilled. It was boiled? and was shredded. The corn was canned and had the lingering taste of the metal can. Sub par for Miami Beach. Service sub par for a night that wasn't busy. We were the only people sitting inside and couldn't track the server down. There are so many better places to go on south beach.
Be skeptical of the Local Guides Reviews on this place and read the reviews of real patrons for the best information. From the beginning, the waiter kept trying to upsell us, making the atmosphere uncomfortable. Once the order was taken, the wait was 35 min for a simple single pizza. The place wasn't even crowded either. Their wood fired pizza is atrocious, the quality of the ingredients were terrible unripe avocado, corn from a can with a tinny taste, and I suspect chicken from can. Their price for food and drink is premium, while the quality and service are not. On top of that, they automatically charge you a 20% service fee on the bill. My brother was scammed by the waiter with a nose stud, who told him he sees no part the fee so the tip had to be separate. Stay away from him and this place. Spend your hard earned money on a better restaurant.
Expensive. Two steak specials for 19.99 ea.was really good. But two Pepsi's for 10.00 and two mixed drinks for 24.00 plus tip brought us to 96.00. They give you a coupon not good for specials or it's for two drinks for 50 percent off. The catch is it's good for only one person. Each person must order two drinks for the discount. Read the fine print!!!
Horrible custumer service. We were asked if we would like anything to drink and we simply said water. Before we even realized, the waitress poured mineral water into our cups and we had to lay $8. When the bill came we had a 7% tax plus 2% resort fee. Then they make you pay 20% for service. When we asked the waitress if it was possible to change it to 15% she became nasty. She asked if we didn't like her service and it just went downhill from there. When we asked to speak with the manager, he was even worse. He claimed that the service is not only for the waitress, but for other things as well. That we have to pay for her tax amongst additional expenses. We just had the worst experience at this restaurant and will never go back.
A bad experience ever. Let's say that food was good, but the service was really bad. We wait more than have an hour for the appetizer , they didn't have a variety of beers. After dinner we asked for a dessert, a vanilla ice cream, and at this time we also had to wait around 20 minutes. When the waiter came with the bill , we were checking it because we realized that it was higher than we expected, and the waiter said that bottle of water costs 8 dollars, we thought that they brought it from Alaska . WE left very upset and suddenly we realized that they didn't give us our credit card and came back , but they said that the didn't have it , definitely they lost it .
DON'T EVER COME HERE! This is by far the WORST place ever to eat in Miami, everyone there including myself complained that the food forever to come. The service was HORRIBLE, i ordered fried shrimp and that took almost an hour to come and my brother order fettucino same time as well nearly an hour. They gave me the dish but NO sauce in which they said they would give to me right after, it was a LIE i waited another 10 minutes still no sauce! Biggest scamming place ever. I had to eat the fried shrimp with no sauce and no taste, then they kept asking me if I want to give more tips to them like are you kidding me??? HORRIBLE, BAD, WORST PLACE, DON'T GO! Everything was way overpriced than any other restaurant, we kept saying no we don't want to order more, the waiter kept coming over "what else are you ordering?" because they want to sell more overpriced food to us.

We had a lovely dinner here last week - the food was really delicious and the ambiance outside in the evening under the umbrellas was nice. All the restaurants in this pedestrian mall including this one do the weird "hawking" thing, where they accost you with their menu and a coupon as you are walking along doing your shopping. I'm not a fan of the hard sell, but once we decided on this restaurant and sat down, we really enjoyed the quality of the food here and the service. They do have a 20% service charge - I'm betting that is because in this city of tourists from other countries, they get a lot of customers that do not understand USA's tipping customs. I believe that they should disclose this service fee - verbally and/or in BIG letters on their menu - so that everyone understands that an additional tip is not required. We saw it ahead of time, but it was not obvious. This would keep them from getting many of the bad reviews they are currently getting...
