Barranca canyon dentistry is Great. My husband has been going here for over 10 years. I stuck with my old dentist who I was comfortable with. I started feeling like my dentist didn't do a good job during our last couple cleanings. I went for a cleaning and WOW what a difference in quality. I knew after the cleaning what a real proper cleaning should be like. They also confirmed it didn't look like I had a good cleaning in a long time. Now I will be going for them to fix other stuff that my last dentist did. I will also add that I absolutely hate going to the dentist! They are also very gentle and I never felt any pain unlike my last dentist.
I don't recommend this office . They force you to either accept treatments not covered by your insurance or go somewhere else and of course i went somewhere else. I needed two crowns for two of my teeth plus a filling. I have a really good insurance that covers most of my dental expense e.g. 80% of crown expenses. On the treatment plan, for each crown they included a treatment which is basically removing gum using laser which was obviously not covered by my insurance typical strategy by dental private practices to charge patients extra as through insurance they are capped on how much they can charge for standard treatments. When I requested to remove that as this did not seem necessary I have done multiple crowns in other places without ever needing such special procedure , I got a somewhat condescending answer from the receptionist that Dr. through his education at USC has been taught this treatment is necessary and is not willing to remove this! This was the first time I had to deal with a situation where a dentist was forcing me to go through a seemingly optional treatment. I did get second opinions from USC graduate dentists as well on this and as I suspected this treatment is not necessary! Unfortunately, going to this office was a huge waste of time so for the next patients considering this office, you might want to double check about the treatments that might be forced on you later on and might want to save yourself some time and go somewhere else.
I've tried several dentist in the last few years with mixed results until I tried Barranca Canyon Dentistry. The staff is very caring, knowledgeable and skillful. When I first started going there I had a tooth that was a real issue and they turned it into a perfectly feeling/working tooth. I've been going to this place for years. I highly recommend this place for your dental needs.

Exceptional care at Barranca Canyon Dentistry! The staff was friendly and Dr. SHAHRIYARPOUR was both knowledgeable and comforting. The procedure was painless and the results are fantastic. Highly recommend for top-notch dental care. Five stars!
My family and I have been going to Barranca Canyon Dentistry for over 15 years, this is the best dental office we have ever been to, we greatly appreciate the great service provided by the dentists, office manager Jaime, who always makes every effort to remind us and encourage us to not miss our appointments, as well as the hygienists and office staff! If you are looking for a great dentist office, Barranca Canyon Dentistry is the one!!!
What an amazing dental group! My family and I have been going to them for over 12 years. Both dentists are just incredible. And the hygienists and staff treat you like you are family. I can’t say enough good things about them!
Barranca Canyon Dentistry is awesome! First they are professional, friendly and the office is immaculate. Just recently I had a broken crown and they accommodated me immediately and even had the dentist come in while he was suppose to be off for the day! Highly recommend them.
I have been searching for a capable dentist for over several years. I have had some trying experiences with other dentists especially with crowns. Dr. Shahram and Samira at Barranca Canyon Dentistry are very personable and talented dentists. Dr. Shahram redid my crown and they created a new one on the spot. Suffice it to say my teeth are finally painless! High marks to the friendly and professional staff from start to finish. I highly recommend Barranca Canyon Dentistry for all your orthodontics.
Barranca Canyon Dentistry is the absolute best! Dr. Shahriyarpour is seriously the best! The best bedside manner and sense of humor. He's also gentle and calming for anyone out there who gets nervous when visiting the dentist. The entire staff is wonderful, friendly, helpful and highly organized. I seriously love them and I never thought I'd say this about a dentist.
