Barrango, a 4th generation company, is an established expert in world-class custom commercial seasonal décor with over 100 years of experience and passion for what we do.
Our story begins when Salvatore Barrango, a talented sculptor, immigrated from Italy to America just after the 1906 Earthquake. Salvatore used his sculpting skills to to restore statues in churches throughout San Francisco. This led him to set up a shop on Market Street where he created mannequins for retail display. Barrango became a lead manufacturer of mannequins for years. As trends evolved Barrango continued to innovate with custom made decor tailored to any location's needs. In the 1980's we moved to our larger production studios in South San Francisco. Today we're known for our larger than life eye-catching Christmas decor. Some of our marquee pieces include the Neiman Marcus Christmas Tree in San Francisco's Union Square, the 70' Christmas Tree in City Center DC in Washington DC and our 145' Gallo Tree complete with 1.5 million lights synced to music in Guatemala City.
Barrango is also known world wide for our authentic carousels complete with hand painted rounding boards, colorful detail and whimsical animals reproduced from genuine antique originals.
