Barre is a fun & safe workout targeting those problem areas. It works to lengthen and strengthen your muscles, leaving you feeling taller and leaner.
Barre combines the basics of ballet, Pilates, and yoga. This is a fun low-impact workout safe for all ages and body types. No dance experience is needed. It still may be challenging at times, but it works to have you leave feeling beautifully toned from head to toe.
The workout aims to strengthen your core and use it for balance. You will mainly use your own bodyweight for resistance, and when doing it correctly, you should feel those muscles stretching and becoming stronger. I use a variety of tools to enhance the workout, but please bring a mat if you have one. The class is set to upbeat music to help keep you motivated. You owe it to yourself to have some "me time", so come for this 45-50 minute well rounded barre workout.
I am a certified Balancepoint Barre instructor with a strong dance background. This is meant to be a fun workout for everyone, regardless of experience, so we can tailor the workout to you.
Please note, modifications to the workout are easily made if coping with an injury or other issue. Please make me aware before class.
You'll want to wear comfortable, non-restricting clothes.
