Barrel Smoke BBQ

The first time I went here this place blew me away! The Servers were friendly and super helpful had a super great selection. I would recommend the brisket nacho's to any first timer, they are absolutely amazing! I also had a brisket sandwhich there complete with sweet potato waffle fries and marshmello dip that was really great too! As for the BBQ, at the time of writing there is only one It's a bit sweeter style with hints of honey and brown sugar, kind of like a Carolina style BBQ. I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone looking to try something new in the area as well as anyone passing through. I've tried pretty much every thing on the list and there's really no way to get a bad meal.

Absolutely delicious !!!! BBQ is perfectly smoked. Loved their take on wings. I travel everywhere and try wings and if you get sick of the same ol, fried wings soaked in red hot. Try these out to me tasted like rotisserie not saying they are grilled wings that are nice and crispy, not grizzly slimy wings. A++ best wings in 3 counties hands down!!! Nice helping enough to take home and have 2nds. Only recommendation I would make is to have a few more sauces on hand. would love a TX type sauce and a Carolina sauce. Otherwise best new place for me 2019!!!

I'm from out of town, and always look for BBQ places on the road all over the country. This place was exceptional, there were a few small things tho. Service was VERY laid back, we had to look for our server twice, and the location is tucked back into nowhere. That being said, I got to see the kitchen and new smokers! Cleanliness was immaculate in the kitchen. Staff was friendly, owner was happy to share his story with us. The food was amazing, brisket was perfect and very tender. Pulled pork had a very good flavor as well. You have to try the baked beans. The mac and cheese was basic but good. All in all i definatly recommend this place to anyone, passing thru or living here.

We had an amazing experience. We had a party of 25 RSVP and everything went perfect. The food was perfect!!! Casy our server was amazing ,prompt ,helpful and friendly. The rest of the staff succeeded in making our experience awesome. Would recommend Barrel Smoked BBQ to everyone. Good job guys and thank you for a wonderful Birthday!!

We ordered a take out on a Saturday night and have mixed feelings at the end of our dinner. The two person barbecue meal turkey, pulled pork, and beef brisket along with the ribs had its highs and lows. The turkey was moist and delicious, although the brisket was overcooked and unpleasantly chewy. The pulled pork was just okay my wife preferred it and the ribs were pretty good - I prefer them chewy to when they just fall off the bone. We also ordered bone in wings but were given boneless, instead, which was really disappointing as we were excited to try them. My son, however, enjoyed these nuggets. Sauces were good, especially the sweet chili. Sides: the potato salad was lovely - my wife wished she had more - the green beans tasted canned and the macaroni and cheese was barely touched. We will probably try again in the future.

1st, it’s a very nice restaurant, more upscale feel for a BBQ joint ; i went off menu and tried a few different things as i live out of town. Had the brisket, turkey, pork loin, mac & cheese and corn bread for a side, and topped it off with a cup of chili. I gotta say that the chili became my favorite, had a sweet taste and chunks of brisket. All the meats were tender and could be cut with a fork, mac a cheese was thicker, which i love, and the cord bread was just right. I’d say this is a great addition to the town of Denison and if you are in town that you should check it out!

Got take out for lunch. Very good king sandwich and loved the mac and cheese. Went for lunch today great food friendly staff good cold beer. Excellent job everyone. We will be back!!

Fast and friendly service. Food is amazing and so was the BBQ sauce. I definitely recommend eating here.
