Go transit gold star. Province is under heat warning and the station has NO shad or shelters to protect passengers waiting in the blistering sun for their busses or trains. Proceeds to kick everybody out of the station because they can be bothered to have it open more than one hour a day. Why are you wasting tax money to build facites that you then refuse to staff and provide access too. Both in general but also during inclimate weather to protect the health of your passengers I guess if it's not some disease or cause you can tote and pretend to be supportive of it doesn't ACCTUALLY matter to. Failure on supporting UNs Sustainability Goals.
It is neat and clean bus station in the city. Easily accessible for passengers and we can find the parking easily here. Handicap parking is available here too. It’s not busy station we can easily find the place for standing and sitting. We can easily get the tickets from the ticket situated at the station . Go trains are available at the station and we can get the train very easily by tracking the train’s location from the phone.
Took the train to Toronto for a day trip. Ride was smooth and quiet, able to get a nap in. The parking lot was pretty full, but the walk isn’t too bad at all.
My first time taking the GO train! The staff are so nice and the trains come right when they are scheduled to! The train ride was smooth
Worst website on earth. I can only imagine the stress for an elderly person or someone who doesn't quite know their way around a computer. Far from user friendly. On top of that headache, you get to Barrie South GO station and there aren't any people there to help you. Literally - doors are locked! Makes you want to do everything EXCEPT take the GO. Update! They fixed/changed the website - it's so much better now!
The Go Train ticket and Presto services are so inconvenient Please pay more to your IT department It keeps asking me to tap in 30 days for usual issues. No email notifications! And the message did not show 30 days from which day! It reads they will SEND a weekend pass when I tried to buy a weekend pass in a Friday Actually I got the E-ticket in the 2nd try! I think I might cancel our Presto cards since they are too complicated for casual riders like us.
Great and convenient train ride from Barrie to down town Toronto. Bought e-tickets to down town and back. E-tickets are super easy to use. Saved lots of traffic time, mileage, gas and parking $! Definitely will use again!
I had the worst experience ever in this station. The bus to Toronto arrived with no seats available for everyone and we had to travel stand for almost two hours.
It's good for commuters.
This place has no public washroom during the weekend.
