Barrington Police Department's Facebook Page Policy Regarding Comment Removal, Inappropriate Comments Removal and User Ban
In an effort to remain connected to the community, Barrington Police Department has made some changes to its Facebook Account and created this Facebook Fan Page and uses it as one of many tools in providing awareness to the citizens of Barrington.
In order to maintain the integrity of our Facebook page, most comments left by visitors following Barrington Police Department Facebook posts and photos are automatically blocked, and ALL the comments will be removed by the page manager. Inappropriate comments will also be removed, and that visitor permanently banned. However, in the event that a visitor leaves a comment that is visible to the public, that visitor's opinion does not reflect the opinion of the Barrington Police Department.
Barrington Police Department DOES welcome all questions and comments, but all such communication should be delivered via email to [email protected] or via phone at 856-547-3350. This email address, as well as our Facebook page, is NOT monitored 24 hours a day.

Mission Statement: The mission of the Barrington Police Department is to preserve order, protect the community from the lawless, provide law enforcement related services to the community, and ensure there is a feeling of security for our residents. These mandated functions will be performed without bias, prejudice, or favoritism toward anyone or group, and there will be strict adherence to the provisions and guarantees set forth by the Constitution of the United States of America, the State of New Jersey, and according to the laws of the land.
