After completing a service obligation with the United States Air Force in 2000, he returned to Vanderbilt for his total joint fellowship. Staff was unbelievably nice. The Dr was completely opposite. Thumbs down on his bedside manner Dr Barrington needs to learn how to speak to clients in a caring manner. I was extremely upset in the manner he spoke to me and my mother. The staff were so nice and helpful.
Dr Barrington has the BEST NURSING STAFF! But he on the other hand has no bed Side manners. He's not Gentle. He limited my life from looking at my X-rays to get A Walker or Crutches . In that order . My only Choices. I only go for the Injections now until I find Someone else. I'm not 60 yet. It's just how he come At you I hope he's not like that always maybe I caught him on a Bad day hopefully.
Front desk staff was courteous and efficient. Waiting time was short. Followup session was informative and well executed. Surgery results knee replacement were great. Doctors and staff show care and address patient concerns.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I saw the doctor for about 15 minutes on my first visit. I thought I would see him again before surgery,I was wrong. I didn’t see him again until two weeks after surgery. I feel he could have explained the surgery and what he wanted me to do afterwards,better than he did. My post-surgery appointment, he was about 45 minutes late. He did say that he was sorry, he had had emergency surgery.But he gave me the feeling that he was in a hurry to get back on schedule instead of checking my wound.
The wait just to even GET the paperwork to fill out was unbelievable, then Dr. Barrington spent less than 3 minutes in the room. Interrupted after asking me a question, then couldn't be bothered by allowing me to answer the question. I believe he never cared for the response; he just needed to show that he'd at least spoken to the patient in the room by asking at least one question. As quick as he'd entered, he had left again, spouting out some instructions as he walked that of course, I didn't understand. Left me standing in the hallway not even knowing which way to go, much less what I was to do now. The usual money hungry machine of a place, churning patients in and out as quick as their money-grubbing hands can go, giving attention only to those who might show the promise of needing an expensive surgery that will fill their bottomless wallets.
Dr. Barrington is an excellent surgeon. He takes the time to answer all your questions and then follows up. Made my knee surgery as easy as possible.
I had a good experience with this service. Everyone was nice and professional. I went in with pain in my hip joint. They did an X-ray and only showed a small amount of arthritis. Bursitis was the diagnosis and then was given exercise to do at home along with medicine. So far it’s working and I’m happy with the outcome.
The office atmosphere is very pleasant, the office staff was very friendly and my wait was minimal. Dr Barrington is very pleasant and thorough. He recommended stretching exercises that solved my hip problem.
DR BARRINGTON IS GREAT. AWESOME STAFF.
I'm thankful to have Dr. Barrington as my orthopedic doctor! He and his staff are very caring and efficient. He did my rotator cuff surgery and the results were wonderful! He's now helping me with my knee and leg problems. He's got me on a good treatment plan until I can have total knee replacement surgery. I'm confident this surgery by him will turn out great too!
