Barrow Automotive has given me the best experience I have ever had at a collision facility. On my intake of my car, I was able to meet Mr. Barrow and his son Brett. They were such a pleasure to talk with and were very informative with the process for me. They assured me they would take care of me throughout the process. Dave who handles their Audi vehicles was so knowledgable and taught me so much information as he was keeping me informed of the progress with the insurance company. Brett did an amazing job always reaching out and Informing me of what was going on and the timeline of my vehicle return. This was a high stress situation and man did the team at Barrow really show up. The ladies at the front desk are always a pleasure if I called or had to stop in with my many questions. The work they did on my car is absolutely flawless. I would highly recommend using them everytime! Thank you for all of your hardwork.
Can't get these folks to return my call. Left multiple messages to Jake who I spoke with initially, since then I only get voicemail. Just need to confirm some details on my repair. Unsure how to score this as I don't want to unfairly score them poorly because of bad communication. All other info points to an excellent shop and Jake Barrow was great on the phone when I first spoke to him about the repairs. Blame it on the shop staff. Jake was out sick and they kept sending to voicemail. I'm sure they'll do a good job fixing your car, and Jake was great in helping get diminished value done on my car even though he didn't fix it. One star removed for his office staff snafu in communicating. Not joining the band bashing them, too much of that rubbish goes on here and I will state exactly my experience, nothing less.
I recently purchased a Tesla. I had no idea when I purchased it how difficult it would be to find a shop willing to work on it. I had to call around to multiple shops only to be told no before I connected with Barrow Body Shop. Emailed photos of my car and scheduled an appointment to bring it in. As someone who has had less than stellar experiences with auto shops, I have very low expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with the service I received. Jake took the time to look at my vehicle and offer empathetic advice. I did not feel like I was being “sold to” or pressured into wasting money. I felt like I received a sincere effort to assist. Communication by Barrow while they have your vehicle is nonexistent and infuriating. My contact was Jason and he would blatantly ignore my calls, emails, and eventually texts for weeks at a time. I reached out to owner eventually and it only slightly improved. He did begin communicating more consistently once we were within a month of my vehicle being repaired. They had my Jaguar for 7 1/2 months. I’m well aware of supply chain issues getting parts so I only would reach out once a month or so to get a status….NO response for weeks from Jason after multiple attempts. Eventually I would reach him and he’d apologize and provide an update and I’d be ghosted again for weeks the next time I’d reach out. I was never given a clue how long the repair might take until we were very close to completion. I would have appreciated being told up front this is going to take several months and we’ll let you know when we are within weeks of getting this done versus months….anything….or at least a ‘parts delayed…no update at this time’ reply within 48 hours of me reaching out. The bright side is our Jaguar repair seems to be very very good thus far. The quality of work seems top notch as expressed in some of the other reviews. I’ve only had it back for a day but have not noticed any issues and there was $27k worth of damage….and that is obviously the most important thing.Services: Painting
While the work on my car is good, they simply do not keep you informed. I found myself having to continually email and call to get updates on my car. The entire time. I happened to check in 2 weeks after dropping my car off to find out no work had been done outside of stripping the problem areas bc my insurance had been unresponsive. Then my insurance said it was actually the shop wasn’t responsive. Either way no heads up had to find out on my own. My specific tech I would have to email 2+ times to get a response. I don’t fix cars for a living but I have to believe it’s not that difficult to send a weekly update. I went to Caliber collision shop in Fayetteville for my other vehicle and they literally texted me every 2 days with updates. So I know it can be done. I probably would have been better off going to Tesla but oh well. To summarize, work is good. So if you don’t mind being in the dark on updates then go with them.
I had an unfortunate accident where my brand new car was affected. I chose Barrow Body Shop since it was one of the very few Land Rover Certified Bodyshops in Atlanta. I was quite hesitant to get the job done here simply because of the reviews I saw online for them. It took about almost two months to get my door in from UK but the actual job took about two weeks. During this time I was biting my nails daily worrying what is going to happen to the car at this shop and how are they going to deliver. I’m actually very happy I chose them since they did a great job. Mr. Mike was a true pleasure to work with, very knowledgeable and as an icing to the cake, he is a very personable and courteous gentleman who genuinely cares about his customers. Cindy from front office was also very sweet and attentive every time I called or appeared there in person for a follow up. Thumbs up guys, job well done!! I certainly recommend them and will use them in the future if by another unfortunate accident I end up having to do so!!Service: Body & Trim
Went in to get a quote for a fender bender. Drove 30 minutes to go here. People were cool. But I am still waiting a week later. I called and still have not gave any answer. Hate to give a 1 star. But I have to do it.
I got rear ended in my car. Both my insurance and Tesla recommended I go to Barrow Body Shop. Their service *exceeded* my expectations. Their customer service was really great. I didn't always get a person on phone, but Jake Barrow I assume he's the owner sent me very detailed progress emails with pictures and plenty of info about my repair. Plus, he finished the job within the time he promised. My repaired car was perfect, and squeaky clean. Highly recommended!Service: Body & Trim
What an absolute joke of a business. Good luck actually getting the owner to call you back. Waited 4 weeks on them to just order parts after bringing it in for them to inspect it. I have called countless times just to be told the owner isn’t available. This place will be out of business before 2024. Don’t waste your time or money here. Listen to the other reviews on Google. They weren’t lying. The only nice thing I have to say about the place is the receptionist was apologetic everytime I called apologizing for how embarrassing the place was for not being able to return one phone call.Service: Body & Trim
