Learn to play the guitar and bass, from a working musician. I also work with bands on song writing and improving performance skills.
Education: studied theory and composition at the State University in New York and instrumental performance at the Manhattan School of Music
Teaching Experience: I have been teaching privately for over 20 years and at Ken Stanton Music for 11 years. I also run a clinic for learning disadvantaged children, tutor existing bands in building performance skills and consult with the McClure Middle School Jazz Band and the Georgia Enrichment Program for Homeschoolers.
Performance Experience: I have written and performed with my own bands as well as being a first-call session guitarist and arranger for many demo studios in the New York area.
Specialty: concentrations in classic rock, jazz, and blues from the beginner to the aspiring professional with a teaching style based on a combination of infinite patience, motivation, and fun.
