Mr. Chapman has been practicing law in the Valdosta area for 40 years. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and he earned a law degree from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. A well established member of our community, Mr. Chapman served as our Municipal Court Judge in Lowndes County, Georgia from 1984-1997. He has held offices as past president for the following organizations: Valdosta Bar Association, Valdosta Country Club, Valdosta/Lowndes County YMCA and Valdosta Rotary Club. He has served on the board for the United Way.
Mr. Chapman has a team of talented staff to assist you. Marcy Morgan is his legal assistant. She is the anchor for our firm, the valued first impression. Marcy is experienced in the finer art of day to day office management, serving for many years as an administrative assistant at the Valdosta Police Department and later, for a medical professional. She understands the value of customer service and efficiency. She is fluent in Spanish.
Katie-Love Mayer is the Title Abstractor for the firm. Trained by Mr. Chapman as a Title Abstractor, Katie-Love has been examining titles under Mr. Chapman's direction for close to two years. In addition to Title Abstracting, Katie-Love handles the firm's marketing. She has nearly 20 years experience in the fields of legal assisting and office management.
