YUM. That's all I have to say. Everything about this place rocks, especially the lox and cream cheese and lemon chicken soup! Everyone who goes here can find something they love. If I lived here I'd eat it everyday. I want to order everything on the menu! After eating this I felt like I could do anything! This is forsure a must taste.
I had no idea this gem was so delicious. From the East Coast, finding a Jewish deli I can rely on for matzo ball soup and HUGE sandwiches at great prices is a dream. Go for the full sandwich, it's only a $1.50 more for twice the Sammy. Amazingly soft fresh bread and their custom coffee is good. I went back 2x the same week of my first visit.
Okay, okay, okay. My turn. I don't know what that means. Barry's is in the here and now. So happy to be back in town after twenty years away. Good looking deli/bakery counter with even better tasting baked goods. Ah, a bialy with cream cheese. Yes! I took the rugelach and the hammantaschen home, along with a chocolate fudge cookie. My nephew's will eat those later. Friendly and professional service. Place was busy and the customers were happy. I WILL BE GOING BACK.
Can I just say I am so thankful this place exists?! Growing up ashkenazi I never had this kind of community or knew about how good Jewish food is. This place makes me feel at home and accepted. The food is heavenly, and I love all of the employees. I will forever cherish what Barry’s brings to the community.
THE BEST fresh baked challah bread. I dream about their sandwiches, and wish I lived closer to frequent them more often. Can't recommend enough. Stopped here again while on a road trip! Everyone working was so kind and friendly to myself and the other customers! Amazing baked goods and amazing staff.
Was out in South Eugene and stopped in to check Barry's out. Love this place. Wide variety of tasty bakery goods as well as soup and sandwiches. Excellent food and highly recommend .
Edit: Went back to Barry's for probably the third time yesterday we're from out of town and as ever, it was excellent. The crew is always super friendly, food is delivered quick, hot and tasty, and when it's available, the take home bread is to die for. Challah!
So good!! I had an onion bialy with lox and cream cheese and I loved it. Busy & friendly atmosphere and I can’t wait to go back.
Uuum what?? How have I lived here for this long and never heard of this place?? Everything was amazing!!! This bakery with its Jewish New York inspired menu is amazing! Trust me ..try the cheescake! The desserts are out this world, and my roast beef on Challah bread ...yum!! A Must go!!
This is an excellent Jewish bakery. The only place in town I've found bialys and egg creams, and by far the best cheesecake in town. The deli aspect is somewhat secondary.
