This place is amazing, so many bar/counter stools to choose from! I have been looking for counter stools for over a year and furniture stores just do not carry them. I hated the thought of buying online without being able to actually sit in the chair first. I thought i was looking for the impossible, a chair that swiveled and tilted. Not only did i find one, they had a couple to choose from. My main goal was comfort then style. I found both at dinettes unlimited.
After looking around on online stores for kitchen dinette sets, I was reluctant to purchase a set online sight unseen. I decided to look around locally for stores that offer both a small dinette set and matching bar stools. My search ended with Dinettes Unlimited in Altamonte Springs. Chris was there to greet us and answer all the questions we had. He was very helpful and was an absolute delight to work with. When trying to decide on a pattern for the chair cushions, we were able to take several patterns home for comparison. Our experience with Dinettes Unlimited was very enjoyble. The dinette set looks absolutely fabulous and we are ecstatic with the outcome. Kudos to Chris, Wendy and David for their assistance in the selection, delivery and set up. I absolutely recommend Dinettes Unlimited.
We searched many locations in Central Florida for sturdy countertop chairs. Specifically with arms and would swivel. After a few in-person visits working with Chris and Wendy, we pulled the trigger. Our hesitation was price, but we are extremely happy we did. The quality and personalization of choosing our fabric could not be found anywhere else. They even allowed us to order extra fabric to make pillows to blend the area together
Wendy is one of the most demeaning, rude customer service people I have ever encountered. We purchased the 4 barstools from Chris and he was wonderful. However we needed to have the stools adjusted and we have had to deal with Wendy and the woman has been nothing but extremely insulting and the anticipated date of service has turned out to be a figment of our imagination. Buy from anywhere else if at all possible and save yourself a boatload of aggravation!!!
They win, "The Worst Customer Service Award" ever! They have had one of our 4 chairs in for repair for 3 months now. We paid $2400.00 for a set of 4 chairs. I have a set of 3 chairs now. They have set up dates for re-delivery of the missing chair at least 4 times now. They are very good at giving excuses for their poor customer service. Both Chris & Wendy Chris's boss continue to call us weekly & change & re-promise the date for delivery. We still don't have our chair! Buyer Beware!
After searching dozens of online stores for a particular barstool, I called and found that Dinettes Unlimited had local samples and color swatches for us to see and at lower price than any online store. Chris was very helpful on the phone and in the store. After helping us with our final color selections, Chris checked and found that the exact barstools we had chosen were part of a store inventory order that was already in progress. That cut the usual order time in half. When the stools arrived and we went to pick them up, we found that they had already unpacked and checked each one over to assure that they were perfect. They helped us carefully load the barstools into our SUV and we have now been using them over two months without any problems. Thank you to Chris and Dinettes Unlimited for a very positive purchasing experience.
Had an amazing experience here. Was having a really hard time finding a dining room table and chairs as well as barstools for my new townhouse. Needed a table that was smaller in width and wanted gray to match my color palette. Had been to a LOT of furniture stores and looked at a bunch of websites with no luck. At Dinettes Unlimited I struck gold. Not only was I able to get the color I wanted but I was able to customize the entire set. Wendy was such a pleasure to work with. Super knowledgeable, personable and customer centric. She listened to what I was looking for and delivered 100%. I can't say enough good things about the level of service I received and the quality of the table and chairs I purchased. My delivery arrived within 3 weeks and their team installed it in no time. They are not the cheapest option for table and chair sets but between the service and quality of the set, they are worth every penny.
We had an amazing experience at Dinettes Unlimited in 2014. The bar stools we chose were very nice and expensive but priced better than anywhere else we looked. The staff was very helpful. We had a problem with one leg end cap our son is a tilter and wore down the plastic part. I called Dinettes Unlimited and they were SO VERY helpful in getting us replacements even 4 years later. I will definitely make the drive over to see them whenever we need anything. Thanks again.
We ordered a table and chairs in October of 2017. We were told that we should get it by Christmas. It did not arrive until February. After a few months, the butterfly table leaf support showed two large cracks. We reported this, with pictures, to the store and were told, since we were within the warranty period, and that John Thomas normally did this, a new top was ordered and would be delivered on November 17th of this year. When the 17th passed, we called the store and were told there would be no replacement, because the manufacturer, John Thomas, did not think the support was necessary to the structure, only cosmetic, since you could not see it from the outside. As a point of honest word usage, "Cosmetic" means that it is only to be seen, and is not integral. How the store came up with a delivery date of 11/17 when none was given by John Thomas is highly suspect. When I asked how the leaf could be supported without it, I was told that since it was fine now, it did not need to be replaced, although we are still within the warranty period. In all of this, there were many times where we were promised a call back, only to have to call Dinettes Unlimited after a few weeks of waiting. The whole experience with Dinettes Unlimited and John Thomas has been nothing but disappointment and a feeling of having been dealt with in an unethical, dishonest fashion. The store and the manufacturer are refusing to stand behind their product.
Ordered chairs for our kitchen island. They were delivered with the WRONG COLOR arm rests. When they finally came in a guy came to the house to put them on. While installing them he stripped the screws & we think he used the WRONG SCREWS. The screws keep coming out & they CAN NOT BE TIGHTENED. I've called the store and nothing got done to fix the problem. DO NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING FROM THEM. UPDATE: August 9, 2020 On April 22, 2020 at 1:56pm I spoke to Chris from the store. I told him that I NEVER heard back from anyone & that I wanted the phone number of the Corp. Office he got NERVOUS and DID NOT WANT ME TO CALL THEM. It is now 4 1/2 months LATER & STILL NOTHING. DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM & FEEL THAT ALL WE DID WAS WASTE OUR MONEY
