Great restaurant for Mexican food in Madison. Fusion menu with Mexican based menu. Tacos and rice bowls with plenty of add on options. The tacos are a bit small. Service was friendly and good with outdoor sitting available. Nice relaxing ambience. Nice decor insideFood: 5/5
Wow — What a neat tasting experience bartaco creates for their guests! Reasonably priced tacos, portioned perfectly to allow the opportunity for guest to taste a variety of menu items. Their online ordering system is designed to give guests the flexibility to purchase additional items as they saw fit! Really liked the sesame ribeye taco and want another? Sounds good! Add it to your digital tab! Don’t sleep on the guacamole; it was so simple, yet a flavorful bit. If you’re looking for a palate cleanser, the caipirinha was a well crafted cocktail.
Great food, and the guacamole was so good. Can tell all the ingredients are super fresh. Evelyn spelling? was an amazing waitress and was super sweet, Marie runs an amazing restaurant. Everything came out fast, and everyone was friendly.Food: 5/5
Bartaco is an excellent restaurant with wonderful and unexpected taco entrées! Desserts seem good, and their tequila selection looks outstanding! The service was attentive, and the food was delicious. I had roast duck taco oyster taco and pork belly taco so delicious.

Absolutely great food! First time visiting and will surely return. Food was fresh and came quickly upon ordering. We were properly instructed on the ordering process and should not be of any difficulty for anyone. Even though we had a few “first timer” questions our server was more than willing to go through and explain everything to us. She was absolutely patient with us which helped as well. Fresh fruits are used in the cocktails which is a rarity for most businesses. They offer numerous healthy options and the ability to deeply customize your meal to your specific liking. The dining atmosphere gives off this beachside California vibe. Really chill place, clean establishment, and friendly staff!
Great lunch experience. You order based on a QR code menu. We ordered Street Corn Fritters for an appetizer. Main was two Lobster, two Duck, one Chorizo and one Cauliflower taco. We were told the Lobster taco was from their secret menu. To drink, a Pomegranate Limonata. Nothing here was a disappointment. The Corn Fritters were really good. I expected some more cakey. These Fritters oozed a nice cheesy bite! Food tasted fresh. The in- house made tortillas were delicious. The tacos are smaller 4" but this was just right for lunch. Service was great and friendly. We sat outside to enjoy the weather, but the inside atmosphere had a nice vibe. We will definitely come back for more! Note: credit and debit accepted ONLY. No cash. Vegetarian options: Cauliflower tacos are good.
It is always a treat to walk around Hilldale, and this place is an awesome fit. The food was great and the vibe was comforting. You get seated and there's a QR code to order and pay. The only interactions we had with dtaff was when they would bring out the food so for me thats nice, dont want to be stuffing my face when they come around asking how was the 1st bite and I'm on my 2nd plate. I ordered the fried oyster, pork belly, and sirloin tacos. They're affordable, so we just kept ordering! Definitely coming back
Delicious, but overpriced bite-sized tacos. The tacos really are good, the guacamole, as well, but not worth the price if you're planning on eating a full meal, in my opinion. I do like their service model; everyone does everything, and I did feel both times I went that servers were attentive. Edit to add: I see the thoughtful response from Bartaco and can appreciate the note that the freshness of ingredients contributes to costs. I do plan to return, but I will plan for more of a snack and drink stop rather than a full meal stop.
Our all time favorite date place since covid times. The staff is always so attentive and friendly. Food is always top-notch. You can never go wrong about a reviver. Thank you Elena, Casey and Mari for making this place so special.Food: 5/5
