It's not everyday that you find a medical provider who truly cares about their patients and doesn't question you and your body, he listens and is very kind and gentle. Dr. Barton has seen me through a lot over the last 5+ years, and I've not once had a bad experience. In fact, every experience I had with him was truly 5 stars. He has personally returned several phone calls when I've had issues, he has personally called me when I was in the hospital to check up on me even though he was on vacation, and he has even provided me with his personal cell phone number in case I needed anything. Dr. Barton has provided an exemplary level of care that far exceeds what any of us expect from our medial providers, he is the gold standard of what a medical provider should be, and I wish that all providers had the heart and passion he had with his patients for the last 30+ years! I am truly saddened by the retirement of Dr. Barton, but I am so happy he gets to begin the rest of his life as a retired provider, with his loved ones. I hope he does as many great things out of the office as he has done within his practice with Cottonwood OBGYN. I sincerely wish you the absolute best, Dr. B!
Dr. Barton is an amazing physician. Amazing prenatal care. So glad we got to have him for my final pregnancy.
I came to see Dr Barton for a very specific reason, and had very positive results. I had an appointment scheduled for this month of March, then I recieved a phone call from his office, and instead of it being a confirmation appointment, they had details of my patient information from my insurance company wanting to know why, and when I was going to have certain proceedures, tests done? I'm in the medical field myself, and if I treated any of my clients in this way, I wouldn't have Mt job. The representative didn't even know I had an appointment scheduled. My biggest concern, and disappointment, was that My patient privacy was being violated by a member of his team, and my information was collected, and I was questioned about proceedures, by a person I had not spoken too before. I didn't ask them to contact me, infect I would consider this violation of my privacy, andharassment. Whether my insurance compamy gave them this information or not, their office under the direction of Dr Jeffrey Barton violated my privacy by calling me to question me about my medical records, and future tests, that I had no intention at the time to schedule. Whether or not you think it's ok to call and Harris a patient to encourage them into any procedures tests, or otherwise, that's an ethical violation of privacy. When a patient calls and wants these tests, it's on them to proceed. Its not the job of the doctors office to call anyone up to discuss future appointments, or procedures, inless a patient has already initiated that conversation. Unless Dr Barton follows a different set of Hippa Rules? Very disappointed in this over all doctors office. I will be moving on
I met doctor Barton for a for a short period, for an outpatient procedure. Dr. Barton listened to my concerns, he treated me with respect, he empathized with me and for the first time I felt comfortable talking to a doctor . He’s truly one of a kind, the world needs more doctors like him. Thank you for being who you are!
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Barton. He is the most amazing Dr and I couldn’t be happier with anyone else. His staff of nurses and he himself are just so kind and caring and take time to talk to you and listen. The month before my first baby was born was super rough and I ended up in the maternity ward for observation for a week. He came and checked on me every day whether on his way to surgery or coming back or visiting other patients. He was caring and I consider myself lucky that he’ll be in practice for my next babies.
Dr. Barton’s interesting sense of humor tends to catch one off-guard immediately following delivery—thank you, Dr. Barton, for delivering both of my delightful babies! We love you! P.S. Making an appointment now for my second born.
I have been trying to get my Daughter to make an appt with a gynecologist because she has severe pain that has put her in the ER. She finally made an appt even though she doesn’t like doctors and this was a horrible experience for her. She left crying and saying she won’t go back or to a different doctor. He proved her point that doctors don’t even care. She has severe epilepsy and he had the audacity to ask if it was because she was dropped on her head as an infant She was born with it and it’s genetic
Dr. Barton has been my OB for 23 years!!! I can't even begin to tell you what a fantastic Dr. he is. Could not have made it through my pregnancy/Labor as calmly without him as my Dr. He actually takes the time to listen to any issues/concerns you may have and will help you find the best solution. Seriously the best Dr. EVER!!!
Dr Barton delivered my first 3 babies. I was sad when we moved out of state & has to find a new Dr. He was kind & gentle when I needed it and light hearted & funny when I needed that!
Dr Barton is professional and. I have been going to him for over 10 years.
