James Barton has trained horses that have performed at the NFR and others that have become AQHA World Champions. Several of the horses that James has trained have been owned and rode by PRCA cowboys, Trevor Brazile, Tuf Cooper, Matt Shizowa, Matt and Ryan Jarret and Ryan Watkins. The Barton's are located in Bluff Dale, TX, On the Houston Ranch.
James creates an individual training program for each horse to acheive the owner's goal. He believes in training the horse to fit the owners style of roping, and also showing the owner how to keep the horse working at peak ability.

*Calf Roping or Team Roping Training: $750/Month
*Colt Starting $650/month
*Lessons: $50/HOUR (cattle provided)
*Tune-Ups $25/Day
*Show Fees: Owner will pay for all expenses incurred
