Unhappy with this business. Rented an excavator, cleaned it for over 1 hour, it rained the night before Bartons picked it up, they said it was dirty & did not give me my deposit back. also in addition to the initial rental fee, they charge you an additional fee for going over a certain amount of "hours the equipment was running".......i thought that was covered in the initial rental price. schemey place, will not rent again.
Barton's Grand Rental was very helpful and accommodating with our blow up rental. Their delivery made it so easy to set up. Everyone we spoke with was very helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to renting from them again in the future.
I recently rented a track bobcat from these guys. They delivered the machine to my house and provided me with full safety and operating instructions. I didn't really need it because I am an equipment operator but, it's always nice to hear an instructor. The machine was in good shape clean with all fluids and oil topped to the full mark. I find that their prices are more competitive than the big box places. The attention to detail here is definitely more personal.

HONEST REVIEW: Rented a breaker from this place. The equipment was great. *Absolutely no issues with equipment. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was informative and professional. Even the guys who loaded the equipment in the truck and advised about the other equipment on the showroom floor were pleasant and helpful. The 1 star was very well earned by the nasty older female at the front desk. She is unprofessional and awful for business. She was at the counter of this establishment with unpleasant behavior...how shameful. SHe displayed an absent, rude demeanor, NEVER ever a "thank you", very, very, very cold and unfriendly with a curt tone. Very condescending dialogue as well, never offered any customer service when she heard me asking about items in the showroom for sale...which I said purposely just to see if she would respond, I already looked at the website and saw the sale items of candles, which I may have bought if she wasn't so rude. Something in the rude attitude she displayed felt extremely racist, not surprising for Sussex County, DE. Even upon returning the equipment I made sure to stay home to avoid a nasty encounter with her* she was was rude of course and "told" my fiance in a nasty way, not to bring the equipment through the front? We never been there before? How was he to know??? You dont address a customer by talking to them as if you are scolding a child?? YOU *DO NOT *TREAT OR TALK TO CUSTOMERS THIS WAY. You do not have to like "certain people" but respect is NOT an OPTION. This is the year 2020 not 1820. Word of Advice: Stick to business and make friendly transactions. Keep personal feelings OUT of your business transactions. All money is green and spends the same.
Rented construction equipment on multiple occasions, equipment always in good condition, available when promised, great customer service and reasonable cost! Live 30 miles away but worth the drive. Will not be using any other rental company in the future.
Very nice place, only draw back is they won't deliver tree's
I go here for all my party needs .They keep a good supply of products that I use. Very friendly staff.
No longer a regular southern states hardware type store. Now it is a great rental store inside with stone gravel mulch and topiary outside.
Friendly and Courteous staff!
