Great airport situated in an ideal location. Manned tower, highly skilled controllers and airport staff. I can personally attest to the professionalism and devotion to safe and expeditious service by the tower controllers. Great fuel prices and an aircraft maintenance shop with an excellent reputation. The FBO is large, clean and has plenty of seating in the main lobby. There's even a museum inside the building which I highly recommend. Definitely stop through if you get the chance!
I don't have a single negative thing to say about Bartow Airport. The FBO is immaculate and the staff is friendly. The rental aircraft are well maintained and they have numerous knowledgeable instructors waiting for you to begin your aviation journey. The line service is eager to help and always greets you with a smile. Come to KBOW for your small town airport!
An excellent small town airport with a manned tower which i really like vs the chaos that happens at Winter Haven sometimes. Their fbo is super friendly and has a nice little museum. I always fly there for the cheap gas from Kissimmee! Will be back there a ton in the future for more gas. I wish the restaurant was open again and had some sort of discount gas days to bring more people in.
Bartow tower is super professional & polite all in one! I did not go to the FBO. I reviewed Ace Aircraft Painting and Refinishing. Appears to be a very good shop. They will be doing a full strip & paint on my C182.! Bartow is easy in & out.
Great general aviation airport and flight school, conveniently located in central Florida. Take a discovery flight and check out the airport!
This local airport is fantastic. First Class administration and staff. Located convenient to several cities in Polk County. Excellent Industrial Park as well ideal for locating a new business if there is space available.
Beautiful FBO, professional service, and decently priced fuel. I couldn't ask for a better Airport to travel to. Take a peek at the museum if you get a chance.
No place to park tractor trailer. And that's called business park
Excellent airport, very clean, very friendly, and nice staff. They also have a Museum World War II memorabilia. I fly in for fuel and to play golf weekly.
Been going here for almost 2yrs. Started with my flight training and now have a hangar here too. Good people to deal with. Cheapest AV gas around.
