LATINOS BEWARE!!! I'm giving you guys a 1 star and if I had the option, you guys would be getting 0 stars. I walked in today looking for ingredients and was followed around by Loss Prevention! I had just gotten off of work, I have tats and piercings and I'm a law abiding citizen. I felt racially profiled and hella uncomfortable. I dont appreciate that, when I was just in there shopping with my man looking at stuff. If you had any doubts look at the the cameras, they dont lie. I will not be shopping here anymore. Will also be posting my receipt as proof that I was in there
I've been to just about every Publix Supermarket there is in Polk County, FL but this one is home for me. Not just because it's near where I stay but it's because of the people that work here. Monday thru Friday, every morning, after I drop my son off to daycare I stop in at this particular Publix Supermarket because it's just one of the positive ways to start my morning. I start my mornings off with a very healthy smoothie and I purposely buy just enough product for one big smoothie just to see the employees every day. That's how welcome they make me feel. Service is the greatest. So great I make stopping by a daily routine throughout the work week. It's an experience to cherish every day. So if you're in Bartow, FL and you need product stop by. And be sure to speak to Mrs. Mami at the front service desk when you first walk in. She's going to be your intro to a great shopping experience.
Just ran in to grab a couple quick things. I know I'll get eye rolls on this but, as a former cashier, I was happy to see this one has a few self checkouts! As much as I respect the position, now that I'm retired, I really just want to get in and out with no line and just a quick wave & a smile is adequate for interaction. There were plenty of cashiers busy ringing, and fully stocked shelves so best of both worlds in this location!
Ordered a. Ultimate sub which has the ham, turkey and roast beef, but got a salad in a sub Your lucky I can't post a picture. Ruined my lunch and whole day. Do better. Just sad. Never again. Go to firehouse across the street, they may be more expensive but at least they give you what you ordered.
So much for return call from manager. Had problems checking out around 0710 today 9/7/23. Got help from a young man that worked there, was told none of these "self check" out take CASH. I had the exact change. Was sent to # 5 cash register. But no one was there, Left the item and walked out. On my way to another store, I called publix and talk to customer service. After talking to Her, she said that the manager will give me a call back and give Her my name and phone number, she repeated it back to me.
Stopped in for a sushi treat and bakery advice for preparing key lime pudding. Both were well received!! Sushi..is..dynamite!! I selected 4 different platters for the fam, all of which were delicious. Although prepackaged the fish, shrimp and crab always smell and taste mild and fresh. Veggies within the roll as well as the sauces are on point. << I was sad there was no pickled raddish/carrot roll, that day. It's very good and zingy!>> As I was attempting a new recipe, I was given good instruction and inspiration from the sweetheart associate in the bakery. Adding key lime juice slowly and condensed milk help to avoid separation between the acidic/creamy mixture. I'm very happy with my overall Publix experience, as always. Thank you to your staff, bakers and chefs for going the extra mile, u rock!
Place is nice. Always clean and people are friendly. Kinda pricey on meat but it's pretty.
Love Publix , but over the years it has become less quality and quantity. The publix name brand food items are disappearing very fast and are hard to find. There were rules that Mr. Jenkins put in place years ago about its employees that is being ignored. People are allowed to have facial hair, tattoos bad attitudes about working customer services slipping away. I know it goes with the time but publix was always was way above this. We still prefer shopping there, but it's not so much of a pleasure anymore...
Reagan, Haley, and Carsen at checkout were AMAZING. They identified an issue at checkout my wife and I were mumbling about, we weren’t even going to correct the mistake my wife and I made but they stepped up- fixed our transaction, carried our incorrect items back for us and rang out the correct items. This customer service was exemplary and above and beyond.
To many chiefs in this store not enough Indians. You would think with all those chiefs in this store they could keep them shelves full every other day you are out of something. You can not keep your Publix tea in stock at any given time you are out of my tea. I will not return to this store even tho I live right behind you.
